Marlon Brown

Come on people, are you seriously wringing your hands over Marlon's Grandma not coming to Knoxville? That's right up there with stressing over Marlon's girlfriend getting a schollie to GA or wherever it was...

yeah, was in the student section tonight and we did chant his name for almost the whole timeout

KOOL!!! They should set good with Mr.Brown and make him smile when he lays his head down tonight. Thats one great thing about K-town, good ole southern hospitality! You just cant beat it.:clapping:

Rex is just wore out...Rex's motto is "wake up early and go to bed late...no body outworks him" - - when it comes to recruiting and filling everybody in at volnation.

I hate those wankers that make up a suggestive title...somebody did it the other day with Teague. I've had to train myself to be pessimistic until I read the thread thoroughly

cool...I thought so. I think it's great to have family members on here...I hope he's enjoying all the strength and conditioning programs he's in the midst of right now.

Yea he said hes been working his rear off in the gym and in the classroom. He said he looks forward to getting out on the field and making an impact this year. I know its just a matter of time. Ive watched him since he was young and i know his potential. He is a great kid and has alot of courtesy and respect. IMO all he needs is someone to bring that beast mode out of him, because he is so polite all the time. When it comes out, i feel sorry for whoever is in his way. He also was great at all three sports in school, his eigth grade year he won a state championship in all 3 sports he played. basketball, baseball, and football. He was amazing because he pretty much done it by himself. Although he would never admit that because he is a team player. I know and CD is a BEAST when he wants to be! When the game is on the line, thats when he was at his best and seemed unstoppable at times. If he listens and learns from CMK he will do fine. Anyways before i get bashed for getting off topic, i would like to say its really a pleasure to be a part of volnation and getting to know you guys and gals more and talking UT sports.

GO VOLS!

Reminds me of Reggie White.

Glad to have ya :good!:

just letting ya'll know just saw marlon and chris out. talked to them a minute and marlon was having a great time getting a lot of attention from the ladies. i know chris and he told me, "i treat my recruits right." also, something funny, a gator fan was trying to talk to marlon and he straight up told him, "i'm 100% not goin to florida." also, said his grandmother is sick and really wished she could be here.
from GQ.

Some are also under the impression that Marlon traveled here with Marlon Walls. Coming with a UT commit could not be a bad thing.

well...somebody earlier this week called it saying Marlon Walls was going to be accompanying MB on his OV this weekend, and that he was going to be showing him around to make sure he had the BEST visit possible. Good call whomever that was.

it seems like MB has gotten all the attention in K-Ville, that we thought he would. i can honestly say that our staff and university has done everything conceivably and legally possible to get this kid in orange. if he goes to UG, its not on us.

You can come on here and go "off topic" any time you want man! We appreciate the "inside" info from a true "insider". Thanks and good luck to #19. I hope he has a breakout year in 09.

Would love to have had Granny there last night. I think that the whole Coach O thing is a lie and I am sure she would not mind him coming to the Hill. I can't wait to hear how everyone liked it last night. I don't see how they couldn't have liked it.

someone touched this topic a few days ago. there is no way that georgia, florida, or bama could have put on the "show" that ut did last night at the basketball game. i think our basketball program/fans reflect well upon our football program and definitely contribute to our football recruiting.

tennessee's basketball program has seen only recent success, and if our fans get this crazy over basketball at a football school, imagine how these recruits perceive our football program/fans. whether we land the guys at the top of our list or not, neyland will rocking come the first game.
