Martin, Golden, and Motivation

Recent Martin comments have me wondering if Martin has stopped trying to adjust Golden to his offense and told him to play his game and adjusted his offense to fit.
Golden looked like the guy of old last 2 games and it's not all just about being healthy.

Yea, the announcers during UK game were harping on that. Golden said he's gotta stop trying to be a PG first and just play his game...it's working.

That's certainly possible but why would Martin make a point to say today his mind was also an issue?

let it go man. Maybe his dog got ran over, maybe his gf was cheating on him, nobody here knows. What we do know is that he was benched, got some rest, and is now playing the best ball of his career. He was benched due to lack of effort, not performance...now whether whatever was on his mind was effecting his effort nobody know, but the effort wasn't there and it earned him a spot on the bench.

Things appear all better now, WOO-HOO, and let's hope he continues to play this way.

I think all our players are motivated. I think style of play determines whether they play good or bad. I think when we play up tempo and attack the basket everyone plays a lot better. Were just not good at the stand around game don't have the outside shooters we need to attack the basket for close in shots.
