Finally watched antman and the wasp quantumania since they added it to Disney plus. It’s not that good. I found Cassie annoying, and holy hell that cgi on modok was laughably bad. Really the way they did modok in general was just dumb in this. 5.5/10

I'm definitely on the flip side of this one...modok was cheesy, but I loved the rest of it. I thought is was pretty much on par with the first two and Majors did a great job as Kang. I was very surprised based on all the negative publicity

Agree on majors as kang. He did a good job.

I liked most or all of it. Modock was simply stupid. Agreed. Too much comedy relief.

Was super stoked to see Kang arc, added. Loved incorporation of his chsracter. Excited for Loki 2.

I thought Ant-Man 3 was decent. Not great, but didn't suck. Honestly kind of didn't feel like an Ant-Man movie. I missed Michael Cena and Scott's other friends. The new acctress they got for Cassie was worse. Also felt like a lot of the comic relief Paul Rudd would usually do went to Corey Stroll as MODOK, which was weird.

I'm working on catching up on my Mrvel backlog. I'm on Hawkeye atm. Moon Knight will be after that, then Black Panther Wakanda Forever and Quantumania.

If I ever catch up on Marvel, then I'll start catching up on Star Wars.

Liked Hawkeye. Enjoyed Moon Knight because it was different. Definitely a different, yet unique, take on the character. Wakanda Forever got Namor all wrong. But I enjoyed the tributes to Chadwick Boseman and the Wakanda scenes. Quantumania was just okay IMO. I actually liked the MCU origin of MODOK. The involvement of Pym particles actually fits better than his AIM origin IMO. But something just felt kind of off with the movie.

Up next is She-Hulk, then Ms. Marvel, Thor Love and Thunder, and Werewolf by Night.

Watching in what Disney+ considers chronological order, so haven't reached Werewolf by Night just yet.

Yes, I've seen all those.

Just finished the GotG Holiday Special. Guess I'm caught up om the MCU with the exception of GotG 3.

Yeah it really sucked when Disney bought Marvel in 2009 and ruined it by Endgame in 2019. It’s so ruined they still had the highest combined box office of 2022 and probably will in 2023 too.

Well after endgame it has been pretty much garbage. I will definitely watch GOG 3 but other than that its pretty much cooked.

Most of Phase 4 was on par with Phase 1-2. Some was up there with the best of Phase 3.

SM No Way Home, Loki, Wanda Vision, Dr Strange, Werewolf by Night, GotG 3… all top quality.

Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Moon Knoght, Shang Chi, Ms Marvel, Wakanda Forever… all fun and on par with the average from Phase 1-3.

Eternals is underrated.

Thor and She-Hulk were duds.

Haven’t watched Antman yet but audience score is on par with anything else.

That’s a solid ratio for quality entertainment.

I didn't mind She-Hulk. It was different.

Thor Love & Thunder - I hated how much of a buffoon they made Thor in the movie.

Wakanda Forever - I wasn't a fan of how they handled Namor.

My only problem with Falcon and Winter Soldier was how they seemed to dumb down Bucky's fighting skill.

There are flaws with all the Marvel movies. Even Infinity War and Endgame.

With She-Hulk I appreciated them trying to make a sitcom but felt most of the jokes were just kinda flat. I liked the 4th wall breaking and the dig at the internet trolls. I HATED what they did with Abomination and the Wrecking Crew.

Thor was a disappointment coming off Ragnarok. There was a good story there but humor ran unchecked.
