Eternals was sooooo bad. It's cool you dig it all. I don't.Most of Phase 4 was on par with Phase 1-2. Some was up there with the best of Phase 3.
SM No Way Home, Loki, Wanda Vision, Dr Strange, Werewolf by Night, GotG 3… all top quality.
Black Widow, Hawkeye, Falcon, Moon Knoght, Shang Chi, Ms Marvel, Wakanda Forever… all fun and on par with the average from Phase 1-3.
Eternals is underrated.
Thor and She-Hulk were duds.
Haven’t watched Antman yet but audience score is on par with anything else.
That’s a solid ratio for quality entertainment.
You can pick apart almost any of the movies if you're familiar with the source material. There are flaws with all the Marvel movies. Even Infinity War and Endgame.
With She-Hulk I appreciated them trying to make a sitcom but felt most of the jokes were just kinda flat. I liked the 4th wall breaking and the dig at the internet trolls. I HATED what they did with Abomination and the Wrecking Crew.
Thor was a disappointment coming off Ragnarok. There was a good story there but humor ran unchecked.
It can get a bit cutesy at times. You can pick apart almost any of the movies if you're familiar with the source material.
I agree that the Wrecking Crew was done extremely poorly. I didn't mind the Abomination quite as much.
The only project where I wasn't familiar with the source material was Ms. Marvel. My understanding is it was quite different than the comics. But I liked it.
I grew up on comics. Collected until like 2008. Still have many. many long boxes full of comics. Some things you just have to accept as taking it from print to the screen. But some of it is just poor choices.

I think it was a pretty decent movie but didn’t really fit in the established MCU very well.
But then neither did the comic. Kirby didn’t even want to be part of the Marvel Universe.
Really thought the job Jonathan Majors did was excellent. Esp from HWR to this version. Finally watched Quantumania. Thought it was visually stunning. The creature designs were fantastic.
MODOK was definitely a deviation from the source but it worked for this movie. The end of his arc was a little cringy but otherwise he was ok.
Honestly thought it was a fun adventure story. Not sure why the critics didn’t like it.

Wouldve like to have seen him be a bit more involved in the final battle. But, the Kang Council was a nice addition. All in all was about what I expected, Modock aside.
Some people are simple appreciative of their opportunities. Agree 100%, that starts at home. Great post.Anthony Mackie seems to be a good dude. Toured the studios in Atlanta where they filmed the Avengers movies, and the folks on site loved him. Said his RV pulled up to the studios, and he was driving it. Not a common thing for the folks in those movies. Also said during breaks in filming, they could always find him fishing in the ponds/lakes around the studios.
Also, his brother, Calvin, has been a longtime advocate for STEM/Tech efforts in New Orleans and other metros. Good family.
