Re watched DP&WV last night. Some of it was better 2nd time. Some if it, was not. Def some laughs I didnt catch first time. So vulgar.

I think i'm gonna put this in the Cat 2 area of MCU flicks. Along ranks of say Ironman series, and first Thor.

I've not seen an official report from a site I consider legit but there are reports that the Russo brothers have signed a new contract with Disney/Marvel that will have them oversee the reboot of the X-Men into the MCU.

how long before one of a multipart movie sequence is just a sequence of close up action shots of various avengers/xmen fighting various enemies for 2.5 hours?

I just rewatched it too recently. Loved it the first time and loved it even more the second time.

And I have not cared for the Deadpool movies for the most part. Speaks volumes to me about how good this one was.

Both FF and thunderbolts are the first two marvel movies that have looked good to me in years. I am so F’n avengers out it’s not even funny.

Sir, respectfully, if you knew anything about Capt America you’d know exactly what the actor meant. Even in the MCU 2/3 movies were about Cap vs the US govt.

i think Fantastic Four could really be a spark for the MCU to hit a hot streak again besides this up and down kinda low point they’ve been on since Enternals. It just looks really inspired and well made but trailers can be deceiving. I love the cast of Thunderbolts but not really getting a whole lot from the trailer. We will see.

i know its more original, but I LOATHE how Ben Grimm looks in the new trailers. granted I haven't liked any of the versions, but I hate the current look.

I agree about the Thunderbolts. it doesn't do much to tell me why I should watch it beyond some plucky conversation.

not have his head look like a male appendage. The massive unibrow really pushes that imagery.

I know its more accurate, I just don't like it. even in the comics I didn't like the look. sorry.

The way Ben looks is one of the things I like tbh. Actually looks like he’s made of rocks, not some rotting pumpkin like the mid 2000s movies.

Word from reliable sources is that the Cap'n America is awful. Paraphrasing: "It's barely a superhero movie. It's trying to be a political/espionage thriller."

Writing is awful, action is weak, vfx are terrible.

They specifically wanted to get back to what got them there. Sam, hasn't taken the super soldier serum. He, isnt a Super Hero. Marvel took great pains to convey that

Winter Soldier is off doing other things.
