Good start to the new season. I will say with The Absorbing Man running around (not the version that turned into to cocaine) Shield would be and were ****ed. He's a bad bad dude.
Was a decent first episode. I think with the absorbing man you just have to catch him off guard and get in a good head shot. Thought it was stupid Simmons left when Fitz is clearly broken. Now they have no scientists at all.
Thats why he turned into cocaine iirc. He got shot and turned to steal to keep from bleeding out, then had to turn into a substancs that the bullet could freely come out of. Lol
Lol! Had to look that up...

I wonder if not having an actual Super Hero hurts it? I wouldn't imagine the movie fans of Marvel that don't care about comics, would really care that much about Shield. I admit I don't really care for Shield, my favorite episodes featured Absorbing Man.
I could see the same thing hurting Gotham.
You missed my point. I'm talking about the ratings falling. We comic fans knew it was just going to be about Shield. Like I said non comic fans probably don't care about Shield. I'm sure comic movie fans only, were anticipating characters they knew, and now they haven't gotten them, ratings are falling.
When movie only fans realize Batman isn't showing up anytime soon, they will jump ship too.
These shows are good for us comic dorks, not so much for movie only fans. And well they outnumber us. Lol
I get your point but you can actually enjoy a show without it having a super hero unless you're just really so one sided.
No offense but there aren't enough comic nerds to sustain an entire show on prime time on a big network. If Gotham wants to maintain 6.3 million viewers they'd better jump ahead in time by about 20 years when Bruce becomes Batman.
Well you know I prefer bad guys anyway. Casual fans want Iron Man not Colson, we can enjoy it, they can't.
Your second paragraph contradicts your first one, doesn't it?
I think we are agreeing, in some weird combative way. Lol
I completely get the Colson thing, I know where you're going with that.
In a way it is. I'm watching both shows and I clearly enjoy MAOS far better than I do Gotham but I'm still watching both. I'm really wondering where Fox draws the line with losing viewers and when to renew or cancel the show. No, I haven't even looked at MAOS's numbers and probably don't want to.
Really? I'm the opposite, I like Gotham better. Fox is generally pretty quick to pull the plug. I have no idea what MAOS's numbers are, I was going by Cagle's comment earlier.
Unless you just really find Gordon's character that interesting there isn't much going on in that show. Then again you did mention you like watching the psychotic Penguin kid. If the Penguin wasn't there would you be watching Gotham?
As was I.
It was just announced that the first teaser trailer for Avengers: Age of Ultron will debut next Tuesday night during Marvel's Agents of SHIELD on ABC
Decent episode this week. This underground alien city has a lot of potential and a lot of mysteries. It sure seems like they're slowly trying to make Ward a "good guy" of sorts. I'm wondering why Shield even cares that he murdered his older brother and burned down his house. Just another messed up villain out of the picture.
