Marvel's Agents of SHIELD (ABC)

I agree one of if not the best of the series so for! This current storyline is supposed to tie into Captain America: The Winter Soldier some how I think?

Freaking sweet episode!

Loved May getting caught and Sky becoming an agent!
If some dude was holding me up in the air strangling me and I still had a gun in my hand I'd be putting a bullet into his eye.

Those who left the show after just three or four episodes are now missing out! The past six to eight episodes have been really good! IMO

Ijust a heads up, if you havent seen CAWS yet but are watching this show you may be in for some major movie spoilers.

I actually didnt come back after the pilot but I'll prob tune in tomorrow.

Interesting they are introducing Glenn Talbot in this show. He was a military foil of the Hulk's.

They need to chill with the movie spoilers. CAWS was just released.

Another great episode. I don't think Fury is really dead and I don't think Ward is a traitor. I think that shooting in the plane was staged to get Ward into deep cover with Hydra.

I tried to watch last night. I was so lost on the ongoing story that it couldnt hold my attention. It does seem like its found it footing since the pilot and it is cool how it tied in with CAWS. I may try to go back amd catch up on Hulu.

Marvel's AGENT CARTER May Be Coming to ABC

Marvel's AGENT CARTER May Be Coming to ABC

After struggling to find its way this year, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is finally picking up steam in the wake of Captain America: The Winter Soldier’s universe-exploding twist. It hasn’t been officially renewed for a second season, but it won’t be big news when it is. What is big news is that ABC may be coupling that pickup with a straight to series order of Agent Carter, a new Marvel series about Peggy Carter.

According to Deadline, the project was inspired by the Marvel One Shot that appeared on the Iron-Man 3 Blu-ray. The one shot may be enough to sell ABC execs on the idea, allowing them to forgo the traditional pilot stage. Star Hayley Atwell’s option was recently extended and a script has been in the can for at least three months, but the studio hasn’t made the call yet. The series may serve as a bridge between the fall and spring halves of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., taking over the time slot during their hiatus and connecting to the series plot somehow.

Between this and the Netflix series plan, Marvel is upping their TV game. Let’s hope they can up the quality of their offerings, too, because while Marvel is killing it in the theaters, DC has the edge on TV. Hopefully they can find their footing. Atwell is too big an asset to waste on poor characterization and haphazard plotting.

Wow! After seeing The Winter Soldier this weekend. I finally watched last weeks episode along with last night's and wow! This was fantastic it was almost like a continuation with a new part of the film this is how Marvel should use this show by continuing on or introducing aspects touched on in each film!

I think Ward is now gone. I wonder if they plan on using AOS to build up SHIELD coming back together before next years Avengers film?

Hopefully the final four episodes are as good as the past three or four!

Fine, but do it with Marvel movies that have already made it to DVD not ones currently in the theater.

Hard to explain away Ward shooting the two guys in the head in the elevator at the Ice box but I'm still not completely convinced.

Another great episode last night! When they started tying everything into the Winter Soldier/HYDRA story this show really took off!

ABC has renewed Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a 2nd Season and picks up Marvel's Agent Carter!

ABC Picks Up ‘Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’, Renews ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’
ABC Picks Up ‘Marvel’s ‘Agent Carter’, Renews ‘Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.’

Finally, the project that was destined for ABC‘s 2014-15 schedule despite no one being allowed to talk about it, is out. As expected, ABC picked up Marvel’s Agent Carter along with renewing Marvel’s freshman drama, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The order to Agent Carter is straight-to-series. Inspired by the feature films Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier, along with the short Marvel One-Shot: Agent Carter, Agent Carter follows the story of Peggy Carter (Captain America’s Hayley Atwell). It’s 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark, all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers Executive producers are Michele Fazekas & Tara Butters, Steve McFeely & Christopher Marcus, and Jeph Loeb. The pickup of Agent Carter and renewal of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gives Marvel two shows on the ABC schedule next season. The company has been using Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. to promote the Marvel tentpole movies.

Just ahead of tonight's season finale, ABC has announced that while Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will stay on Tuesday. It however will move back one hour this fall to 9:00PM ET.

Agent Carter will air during the winter, once MAOS goes on winter hiatus.

So what did everyone think of the finale? I thought it was solid and really wrapped up the whole season as well as Captain America The Winter Soldier and set the stage for new stuff to come.

I enjoyed it. Happy I stuck through the slow start of the show. I still haven't seen Winter Soldier, so I'm assuming I'm missing some things here and there. I did like the tie in of ole Nick though

It was pretty good, I'm glad they wrapped things up and didn't leave the Garret/Ward story line open. I'm not sure what exactly they have in store for Fitz.

I thought it was good. I like how they wrapped up everything, and what they are opening up for next season.

Yeah, they kind of have a blank slate to work with now, should be interesting.

Lucy Lawless Joins Marvel's AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

According to TV Guide, Former Xena star Lucy Lawless will be joining the cast of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. They don't offer any details on who she will play, or how many episodes she'll be in, but there's no doubt she'll make a great fit in this universe.

More details will be revealed on her character at the “Marvel Television Presents” panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 25th, in Ballroom 20 from 3:00-4:00 p.m. If you aren't able to make the panel, no worries… we've got your back, and will deliver any information on the character that we learn from the panel.

It's going to be really interesting to see where they take the series next season. The second half of season two was pretty awesome. Hopefully they can keep that greatness rolling into next season.

The second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will premiere Tuesday, September 23.

Lucy Lawless? Could she be the Contessa? Haven't seen every episode, does anyone know if they've introduced the Contessa yet?

And I'm kind of surprised there hasn't been a Clay Quartermain yet.
