Marvel's Black Panther

Clearly mixed

No such thing. That presumes race is something that can be measured and is actually real. When the truth is race is nothing more than a social construct.

And in the American social construct, there is only black or white. There is no group called mixed.

Barack Obama was called America's first BLACK president. He wasn't called its first mixed president.

I mean, you can generally tell someone's race by looking at their skeletal structure.

Samuel L. Jackson stated that President Obama was indeed the first mixed President. For him to be the first black President, both Parents need to be black. This is per Mr. Samuel L. Jackson.

Generally isn't good enough for something to be scientifically valid.

For example gravity didn't become accepted as a legitimate scientific theory because it "generally" worked. It had to check out in every circumstance for it to be valid.

There is no scientifically valid method for measuring or judging what we call race.

I guess I didn't get the memo where Samuel L. Jackson became the leading authority to race in America.

That goes against everything I've read from u in this thread if I'm reading it right.. Unless youre saying that every person that is 1/2 white, 1/2 black should be considered black.. idk what you're talking about..

Well most people didn’t get the memo where Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson were the leading authority on race in America either.

In the immortal words of the game, --ck Jesse Jackson, cause it ain't about race now....

Race as a social construct, or Obama as the first black president, are concepts that were definitely not created by Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson.

I never made the rules on who is black and who isn't. America made those rules centuries ago and we have been living under that social construct ever since.

Who was more meaningful to the black community, Jackie Robinson or Black Panther? Just curious because the same guy played an actual real life hero in a movie and nobody said a word, he plays a fictional black super hero and everybody loses their minds.

SamRebel is losing his mind over Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and not some movie about a "real life hero." That happens in every community.

That doesn't change anything. It'd be like me saying "why do white people go crazy over Star Wars and not the new Ben Franklin biopic coming out?"

You can say that when white people use Star Wars as proof that white people would be traveling throughout the galaxy if not for black people. Lol
