I think the youngsters are being taught that the evil white man started slavery, and was the only race that ever practiced it. It is never right, but like I said, it has been in about every civilization throughout history.

I'm not sure any civilization didn't at one time practice slavery. Most of the world now agrees slavery is wrong, but too many people never grasp the history of the world, and even fewer understand you can't judge the past (often even fairly recent past) by today's standards.

I'll never understand why anyone would worry about the past. It's in the rearview mirror, and you can't do anything about it. Worry only about what you can control. Otherwise, you are going to be disappointed by a lot of stuff.
