Javonni was recording TikTok videos with his two siblings when a gunman in a car started shooting into a crowd of people outside, Keyona Carson told the newspaper.

When I saw your post it made me a bit happy because he survived at least. I read the headline wrong cause I'm illiterate. Silver linings and what not.

It's still unacceptable for any community and needs to be addressed.

I hit this big ass pothole on a private road in front of Lowe's and some other businesses years ago. It was a monster (about 2 feet across and 6 inches deep iirc) right in front of a grade at a stop sign that I could not see. It was an awful bang and almost bottomed my vehicle on the frame. I spent countless hours tracking down the responsible party and even went to county records and called the city DA.
I do not know how much time I spent, but it was a lot and in the end I got my $70 or so for my front end alignment. It was principle and still pisses me off them just letting their customers hit it.

No kidding. Moved my daughter out of her apartment the past two days at, umm...alabama (shhh, don’t tell) and my transmission and suspension along with chunks of my tires are sitting out on I-59 still waiting to be reclaimed. Not sure what Alabama does with their federal highway funds, but it isn’t spent on highways or interstates, that’s for dang sure.

Years ago when my son was on a traveling soccer team ... we had a weekend match in Huntsville, AL. We had been there before but only drove there in daylight hours. My son went on ahead w/some friends. My wife & I left later that night like at 7:30 pm. It was dark when I was passing through Tupelo,MS. Once I was in Alabama the road signs were like made in the 1940s & didn't light up from headlights. You couldn't tell how far out you were to the next town.....so dam frustrating.
