Both of these guys are waco nuts, dont get me wrong. But anyone can find a case of anything at some time. But McVeigh was 20 years ago and Ayers was like 30 years ago. But since then name the last attack but an idiot waco like these 2.

As a side question, do you honestly believe that the people on flight 93 stopped those terrorists?

When have they been used to commit an attack? I have weapons. People are terrified Hussein will try to take their guns or tax them so high we can't afford them.

i think "let's roll" was completely made up by the wife, but i don't see any evidence the plane was shot down. edit: and i think proof would have come out that we shot it down by now. i would assume most administrations would be smart enough to know something like that doesn't keep quite.

You can rest assured that if the government had not increased the attention they pay the folks like McVeigh, there would have been plenty more attacks since then.

How many 9/11-like incidents have been averted because of our increased vigilance since then? Several I am sure.

The threat posed by Muslim terrorists is a threat we are still learning about and beginning to face at home. That doesn't mean that they are the only terrorists out there, though.

Thoughts like that will get people killed in short order...you can't put down your guard with regard to other extremists groups because of the threat posed my Islamic extremists.

that's not what he was saying. if that plane was heading to a new target it should have been shot down before reaching the target.

Air Force shot the plane down.

The wreckage shows evidence of a missile strike.

I am not into conspiracy theories in the least, but this is one area that I am willing to let rest. I'm not convinced that it wasn't shot down, nor am I convinced that it was. I can understand why if it was, and I can understand why they would like to keep that under wraps. I can also believe that the terrorists brought the plane down rather than risk the passengers gaining control and landing safely.

i think the american public would have understood if they admitted it was shot down. and it crashed well before the target. why wouldn't you wait till the last moment? also do you really think this could stay quiet for this long? i'm not saying it's impossible, just that it doesn't seem probable.

For once, I actually applaud the gov't for how it was handled. Also, don't forget about the good work of the Penn State Police.
