the Faldo/Lundquist exchange on 16, towards the end of the afternoon had me laughing.

"That guy is ridiculous"

"Ubiquitous"

I saw in Golfsmith a few days ago that he was going to wear that shirt and my first thought was that it looked like something you'd find on a clearance rack.

Norman crowds were ridiculous yesterday. Balls were still backing up on the greens, even off of stuff like 7 irons.

I'm sure the TV coverage went ape, but Tiger hit a shot out of the right trees on 11 that looked like a moon rocket. Actually took it over some tall pines that we thought he was punching under. Incredible shot and it backed up on the green. Don't know which club he hit, but he had to be like 160 out. Just hit it freaking vertical. I'm sure he pulled it to hit it at the hole, but it looked awesome.

How different do you think, they'll set it up today, given the scores yesterday..

Hope Norman, gets into contention..
Norman, Tiger in the final paring
Mickleson, and Boom Boom in the penultimate pairing

would be off the charts

I think the greens will still be relatively soft today, so scoring will be decent, depending upon the weather.

I like you final groupings, but the crowds would be unbearable and I could do without self proclaimed Mensa boy.

It was actually even longer than that - 178 to the pin. I'm guessing that he hit either a 6 or 7 iron. It was one of the best escape shots that I've ever seen. After he hit it, I was expecting something short to hit short right and then run, but instead all of a sudden a ball hits the green and backs up.

Damn, technology is awesome. Nice to be able to watch this even though the TV broadcast is not on yet.

I'm still liking Tiger's chances. He's going to be 6 or 7 off the lead without making any putts. You know the course is going to get longer and the pins more severe for the weekend.

Sergio Garcia just hit one of the worst shots I have ever seen at #13. Only 161 to go with a 9 iron in his hand on his 2nd shot and his ball landed in FRONT of Rae's Creek before trickling in.

Gosh seeing guys like Fuzzy and then Player finish their (probable) final rounds ever at Augusta gets a guy choked up.

tough luck for Paddy on 15.

i don't understand why you can't walk away from you original address, have your ball move during your routine for your second address, and still have to stroke yourself.

Surprised fuzzy won't give it another go..

It was nice seeing the players greeting Player as he walked off the green

There are a lot of rules in golf you have to really think about to understand why it's there, but something as innocent as the wind moving your ball costing a stroke makes no sense to me.
