Masters

There are a lot of rules in golf you have to really think about to understand why it's there, but something as innocent as the wind moving your ball costing a stroke makes no sense to me.

They really need to put in a decision regarding situations like this. I understand a penalty if the ball moves after a ball is addressed, but it makes no sense to penalize a player that has backed off and "un-addressed" the ball. Clearly Harrington had nothing to do with the ball moving from its original position.

Fearless prediction: I'm not sure who's going to win the Masters, but I'm 100% confident that neither Chad Campbell nor Kenny Perry will.

I wouldn't be too sure. The past several years you would have said the same thing about Mike Weir, Zach Johnson and Trevor Immelman.

This is sort of a "horses for courses" type deal for Campbell. He's played well at Augusta before . . . and before dismissing Kenny Perry as a no name journeyman with no shot, realize you are talking about a Ryder Cup team member that probably has played as well as anyone the past couple of years not named Tiger Woods.

Well it's moving day, Tiger traditionally does very well on Saturdays.
He was very close on many putts yesterday, so hopefully they start falling today

And KP hits a very high, very long hook. For those who haven't been there, it's hard to appreciate the advantage that represents.

KP drove the ball better yesterday than anyone Ive ever seen. Long, high and deadly straight.

Sergio Garcia just hit one of the worst shots I have ever seen at #13. Only 161 to go with a 9 iron in his hand on his 2nd shot and his ball landed in FRONT of Rae's Creek before trickling in.

It was awful, but you know how severe that lie is.

Heard on SportsCenter last night that 17 of the last 18 winners have come from the top five after 36 holes... assuming that happens again I'd probably pick Perry out of the current top five.

If I was tiger I'd have butch on the phone as soon as the plane lands. this super flat swing isn't working.

He's been erratic today, but overall he really hasn't hit it that bad this week.

The funny thing is that Tiger is probably going to "struggle" his way to a top 20 finish. Everything is relative with him.

I wonder if Shingo listens to Sugarland?
Is that not the most ridiculous get up that you've ever seen? On Wednesday he walked by where I was sitting and he was wearing a skin tight shirt. It was like he was a lost member of some strange Japanese cover band of the Village People.

If Tiger can pick up another birdie on the way in and Perry/Campbell back up a shot or two, tomorrow could be very interesting.

CBS is getting on my nerves. I know Tiger is the greatest golfer in the world. He is 9 strokes back. I do not need to see his every stroke.

He's been hitting his irons flush and pure since the Matchplay Championships. I wouldn't mess with this swing. Just get all the loose ends tied up and he will be beastly.

He's 8 strokes back . . . and yes, you need to see every shot he hits. :p

Be honest. You want more Shingo Katayama don't you?

I would think Tiger wouldn't get as much coverage tomorrow if he's not relevant. I would also guess that for every 1 person not wanting to see Tiger, there are 10 that do.

Who are you missing out on? They're showing all the leaders.

. . . just as I see a leaderboard showing Todd Hamilton, Sean O'Hair and Ian Poulter and thought "I didn't even know they were even on the golf course".
