Reminds me of the instructors in boot camp hollering out down a line standing at attention, “Hey you, ZERO!! “a bunch of zeros talking about another zero
For a fact, the 1976 game was played in Knoxville because I was 4 yrs old and at that game when my dad was at UTK working on his doctorate.Wasn’t the 1977 UK team the one that was quite loaded with talent? Guys like Art Still and Derrick Ramsey? If so, I’m pretty sure they also got nailed by the NCAA for flagrant recruiting violations under Fran Curci, but I didn’t look it up. I watched them beat TN in Neyland one of those years, they were very good. I know the 1978 game was in Neyland in the snow flurries ( Allan Duncan kicked 5 FGs that day), so the Derrick Ramsey team must have won in 1976
ahhh sweet memories..Reminds me of the instructors in boot camp hollering out down a line standing at attention, “Hey you, ZERO!! “
To which they’d always get some dummy to bite and look back at the instructor to which the instructor would scream at the top of his lungs to get in the face of the looky loo and scream, “ NOT YOU ZERO THE OTHER (various expletive deleteds) @#$&ING ZERO!!! “
I mean, the previous 5 UK coaches were a collective 1-13 against UT.I forget very little, friend.
Mark Stoops is just 2-9 against the Vols. Those two wins came in Butch's last season (remember, the disastrous 2017 season when we lost 8 regular season games for the first time in our history), and in Pruitt's last season, the 2020 Covid year. Both disastrously bad seasons led by bad coaches.
Other than that, Stoops lost to Butch 4 times, lost to Pruitt twice, and has never won against Josh Heupel.
And never will.
I absolutely want Mark to remain the Kentucky coach for years and years to come.
Go Vols!
