Mayweather & Pacquiao

I heard he did disclose the injury cause he wanted a treatment that wasn't allowed, and they still wouldn't allow it? Must've been a BS rumor.

Did you read it? He disclosed it to the anti-doping committee so he could get an anti-inflammatory shot. He didn't disclose it to the Nevada Whatever Whatever Gaming and Taking Your Money Board.

I see.

And no, I didn't read it. Surprised I even click on this thread anymore, cause I am over this topic. I guess I am just bored.

Yeah, after hearing Pacquiao is gonna be rehabing from surgery for up to a year. He sure knows how to keep from jeopardizing his undefeated record.

Unless he's got a time machine it wouldn't matter if Manny fought with no arms, result would be similar

I should have known this fight was a joke on the world when one side had Jimmy Kimmel as the 4th member of RunDMC in the entourage and the other side had Justin Bieber and the old Burger King King in theirs.

What a waste of money.

Why wouldn't he want another $100 million to square dance his way to another win and have the self proclaimed experts kiss his butt afterward for being such a great 'defensive' fighter? ...the PPV at $89 will be a tough sell next time.

Well if Manny would have been a real man he would have fought Floyd years ago. But he was "afraid of needles." :eek:lol: Just another butthurt Manny fan who cannot handle the fact that Floyd made Manny into another statistic. Even if Floyd waited until Manny was 100%, do you honestly think it would make a difference? If you do then you're delusional. Floyd is on another level than Manny. Always has been and always will be.

The Floyd hate and delusional Manny fans in this thread are both comical and sad at the same time. Manny has no chance at beating Floyd. If both fighters were in their prime, Floyd would have schooled Manny even worse.

Butthurt Manny fan? I couldn't care less about either one of these guys. I'm not even a boxing fan. I didn't even watch the fight. I simply don't like Mayweather as a human being.

Why do you take this so personally? You sound like one of Mayweather's battered ex-lovers.

There's no way Manny ever beats Floyd and it sets up perfectly for mayweather to get enormous amounts of cash. Tie the 49-0 record in a couple months and then have the networks bid to show the rematch and him getting to 50-0 to break the record

Skip Bayless said Pacquiao doesn't have a killer instinct. I love when the ESPN dickbags talk boxing or hockey.

My point was simply that Mayweather doesn't want to take any chances, not that he would lose.

I know his job is to pick a side and ride with it until the wheels fall off but some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth is beyond stupid

Five years ago, Mayweather changed the agreed-upon blood testing requirements, so that the fighters would have to give blood at the weigh-in. Manny refused claiming that he didn't want to feel weak before the fight. Mind you, the terms were already agreed to when Mayweather tried to change them. Also note that there was going to be a post-fight blood test.

Being anti-Manny for the blood test issue is retarded. The terms were agreed on, Mayweather tried to change them. Mayweather didn't want to fight Manny 5 years ago.

To be fair he wanted Olympic style blood tests as a possibility up to the day of the fight. I'm not a mayweather or pacquiao fan more a fan of boxing and respect what each do in the ring but watching Pacquiao's body I'm thinking he was on something back when he was a knockout machine. He looked tiny this past weekend compared to recent years and it's been 5+ years since he ko'd someone

Also both parties greatly benefited by the fight not taking place 5 years ago by millions and millions of dollars. Say what you will about mayweather but he's the a great businessman when it comes to boxing he took a 40-50 million dollar payday 5 years ago and turned it into close to 200 million

I am not taking it personally. It just seems prudent to correct ignorant posters when they clearly have no clue what they are talking about. I don't like Floyd as a person but his mastery of boxing cannot be called into question.

:eek:lol::eek:lol: So I guess you believe that Manny was afraid of needles? Give it up. It really doesn't matter. In the end we now know that Manny would not have beaten Floyd anyway. Was Manny a lot better 5 years ago? Absolutely. So was Floyd.

Mayweather took back his claim he'd fight Pac. While taking back this challenge, he called Pac a coward. Lol. This guy is a joke.
