McBee steppin' up

Don't mind him going to the free throw line either. I know he doesn't get in a position to be fouled often, but he is almost automatic from the stripe. Did you see how almost insistent FL was about not fouling him at the end of the game?

Having 2 guards who are solid from the ft line in golden and mcbee will be a huge benefit in late game situations. Both are up over 85% I believe, I love that from your guards.

Oh absolutely...there's nothing worse than having a game blown on missed free throws. I remember when Darius Washinton Jr. missed 3 at the end of the CUSA tourney for Memphis, and they missed the tourney, when he only needed to make one to tie it for OT. That was a hard one to watch for sure, not because I cared, but I just felt terrible for the kid.

I remember that. Coincidentally I remember another Memphis team missing free throws from their guards and losing a championship. That's a hard way to lose any game, nevermind a conference or national championship.

According to the stats, if he scores ten points we seem to win. 9-0 in games where Skylar has 10 or more. That's not a completely telling statistic since a few of those were against less than stellar competition, but it has been completely true during the SEC schedule as well.

Good stats, thanks for looking that up.

Can you defend golden? First thing everyone does is bash mcbee. Forgetting conveniently that trae did much more harm than skylar this game.

Why do you think EVERYONE is out to get skylar good god, you seriously must be a relative or significant other. If you did some research in the game thread I'll bet you a board ban there was more damn it traes than damn it skylars.

Did more harm? Skylar scored 0 and fouled out, played average d an nothing else. Trae kept us in it in the first half but his ball handling was atrocious. They both sucked today, but to say trae did more harm than skylar is just evidence of your basketball knowledge.

He doesn't see that

Golden had a good game other than his 6 TO's. That is the only negative he had today.

McBee didn't do anything right. At all. His stat line is full of 0's. Except for personal fouls.

Guess what, neither played well enough for us to win. McBee stopped doing the one thing he does well and Trae lost his composure and started handing the ball to bama. All this bickering about which one was worse is beyond stupid.
