McBee steppin' up

Golden had 4 points directly from his TO.

7 more points from his TO leading to fouls and FT's (McBee and McRae fouls)

And he scored 12 so he out scored bama by 1, meanwhile skylar was -9?? Is that correct?

Both sucked, but the point being how anyone can say trae was more harmful is flat out wrong.

One is your starting PG. The other is a spot up shooter and that's his only job. 6 TO's 2 for Golden. 0-6 shooting for mcbee, but half his shots were from 26 feet because golden refuses to attack the zone.

Actually 4 of his shots were wide open, another he decides to try and be Hopson and towing 25 foot high

Tatum was beyond awful
McBee was absolutely useless.
McRae shot poorly but played good D and rebounded well.
Golden played a good game, minus his TOs
Maymon really should have done more against the frontcourt of Bama, but he didn't get as much chance as he should
Stokes seems to have hit a little wall offensively.

As you said a spot of shooter, 26 ft should be like a ft to him(exaggeration). Exactly our starting PG shouldn't have to score like he ha to, but when your guards can't throw it in the ocean you're forced to press.

They both sucked and why you can't settle with that I'll never understand. Mcbee couldn't throw a beach ball in the ocean, and mcbee couldn't dribble past half court. My problem was you saying trae was more harmful, that's flat out not true, he kept us in the game whether you want to admit it r not, that doesn't excuse him or give him a pass, but it doesn't mean he wasn't more harmful than mcbee.

Oh and alditore you keep ignoring me on when I ask where I tried to defend Golden. if you are going to be an ass about it so Will I

He tries to make his point by saying people say things. He said EVERYONE first response after a loss is to blame mcbee, I challenged him to count in the game thread who got bashed more. Go count the damn it golden or damn it mcbee and see who gets hated more, it's golden. I even bet a board ban on this, but he clearly ran away like the coward he clearly is.

He said I did the same thing, defended golden, I have yet to to do it, but he won't show me where when I asked him.

Mcbee's role is to knock down 3's. Many teams have similar type players (yes often white dudes but not always) whose sole reason for being on the court is to hit 3's. You expect these players to have adequate ball handling and play adequate defense but often you trade off above average 3 point shooting for slightly below average other skills.

So let's not expect Mcbee to be Steve Nash or John Wall when discussing him.

Bottom line... when Mcbee is going 4-7 from 3... we are a better team. He is the best 3 point shooter on the team... probably.

Obviously our wings going 2 for a million proves we need to UPGRADE our outside shooting AT ALL POSITIONS... including the "3 point specialist" position.

When Mcbee isn't making 3's... he deserves criticism. When Golden is turning the ball over 4+ times a game and taking wild, dumb shots... he deserves criticism.

This I exactly what I've said all along, please tell me where I've said different? I've said he is expected to do ONE thing, shoot well, when he does it you take the average defense and whatever else he brings. When he doesn't shoot well he contributed very little to the team.

This is exactly what I have said all along.

And I absolutely do criticize golden, I did big time on his play today. All I said positive about him was his scoring spurge to end the half really did help us in the first half.
