Mcbee's fight...

That kid, Blackmon, didn't appear to be trying to hit him to me. It was just a scrap for the ball. Good for McBee for coming up with it, and good for the refs for giving everyone a moment to chill out afterward.

If McBee's foul earlier was a tech, then the fist and elbow swing was definitely!:peace2:

btn, link it if you can. I only saw it once, but remember it different. I could be wrong, but I really thought his left hand contacted the players left arm

Like I said, link the play if you are capable. Would like to see it.

I have no way of doing that, I'm not the not computer savy person. I pulled the game up on my big screen through the espn app on Xbox. Paused it as the savannah state player went up for the layup....

Mcbee left arm grabs up on the shoulder, never any lower than the bicep, and thus is nowhere near the ball. He kind of pulls backwards on the players shoulder at that time and the ball becomes somewhat dislodgded. Almost simultaneously with him pulling the shoulder back he swipes with the right arm and catches the forearm area on the swipe. The action of pulling him back slightly from his left shoulder dislodged the ball, and swiping with the right took his right hand away and that's when the ball really shot out.

As soon as skylar reached with the left hand and grab up by the shoulder which the ball was nowhere near, you could tell he was gonna call the flagrant 1, I really don't think it was the right had. As I said easiest way to describe it. Te left hand went first, and completely reached and grab the offensive player in a non basketball move what so ever. The right hand was a hard swipe at the ball that actually was close to the ball and just hit forearm and looked much more like a basketball move.

I don't agree with that. His left hand actually raked the player's left arm and helped dislodge the ball. The right hand raked over the shoulder and back, which is why they called it. If he doesn't use the right arm, its not called. If he doesn't use the left arm, and only uses the right to rake the back and shoulder, it is called.

This is the way I remember it too, but I could be pulling a roger clemens and be misremembering.

On another note, when mcbee came to UT, who would have ever guessed a volnation thread title that says "mcbees fight"?
