That is how daddy made his money and got JFK his naval commission.....

He really made his fortune during the great depression, by "Shorting" stocks and spreading rumors of their collapse... FDR then made him the 1st head of the SEC and told him to write the rules for the market because "only a crook" who gamed the system can write the rules

You do not know much about history do you?

I am fully aware these types of antics have been used since this country's first elections;however, it doesn't make it just and right. I realize many of you are so reactionary that the very thought of human evolvement in the political arena is a frightening one.

If you are trying to tell us that you've been to "social worker school" I think we already knew that.

you posted this thread and we're the reactionary ones?

From what I gather he is so much above our intelligence level that he posted this to prove his point that the ones who replied are reactionary and fear human involvement.

It was asked of you before, but did you not notice the Obama commercials referencing McCain's health or the ones calling McCain dishonorable?

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

talking about Obama's inexperience and hailing him as fit in the same sentence doesn't lend much credibility.

The day I am worried about gaining credibility with a blowhard like yourself will be the day hell freezes over. :birgits_giggle:You can be inexperienced yet fit to hold an important job or political office. That's a fact. YOu have your reasons for voting for a particular candidate and I have mine.

1.) He is black

2.) He is a democrat

I realize there are negative ads coming from the Obama camp as well, but their positive ads easily outnumber their negative ones. McCain hasn't put out a positive ad in weeks.

Seems like the only way a repulican can win presidential election these days IS to attack negatively and personally. Hey, its worked.

Can any of you right wingers honestly tell me why your party is so enamored with incompetent candidates

Your party keeps nominating them.

If you don't care what I think, don't freaking respond. I've done what I can by placing you on my very small ignore list. You do the same and you won't have to worry one bit with what I've said.

It's entertaining that you would call me a blowhard with some of the absurdity I've read from you. Case in point, this over top stupidity about how harsh McCain is being and crap like being the best golfer in a 50 mile radius. Get over yourself because nobody here cares. I'm proclaiming myself first on the list of those who don't care one whit about you. Fair enough?

Name for me the last truly competent candidate we had up for nomination!

You took that totally out of context. Not surprising.

Those are your reasons for voting against Obama. Doesn't surprise me, many in your party are voting against him for the one reason specifically.

I would say that both parties probably have an equal number who will vote no based strictly on race. Remember racism has no political affiliation.

I will say the democrat party has many more who will vote yes based strictly on race.

Why are you voting for Obama? What is the main reason you will cast your ballot for Obama?

Lets pretend its 1992 and 2008...

Would a 1992 Bill Clinton beat a 2008 Obama in the primaries??

Yes Billy boy would stomp Obama
