There's a difference between harsh words and committing felonies. Maybe some colorful crayon pictures or a sensible adult would help you understand. SMH.

Words. Watch out Tom! They will get you! Lol.

You're more worried than Mcelwain. Lol....

I have a feeling you've probably done something similar before. It's the only thing that makes sense how you could be so indifferent to it. Sad really.

Not me. But makes sense that you would believe in things that aren't real.

Consistent.

So you think Mac and some of his players are making this up? Doubling down on the stupid now, I see. You're better than this.

A UF death threat without Aaron Hernandez. I call BS.

Now PETA threatening McElwain...I can see that...

Oh my😱! What do they expect a top 10? Did they expect to beat Michigan? Georgia will be them. That's 4 losses. They should be no worse than 7-5.

Fulmer got threat over a mandatory reporting of violations to NCAA (by bama).

Fans are vicious sometimes.

Well, those threats came from Bamers so that is expected from that illiterate inbred bunch. How dare someone report cheating by their only item of pride that state has.

University of Florida stated yesterday in some words that CJM is full of ****. He could provide no evidence (probably dates, times, phone records, etc) whatsoever that it occurred.

I think he was way exaggerating. Thing is, he's embarrassed the whole fan base by alluding to some unspecified "threat."

Meh, might be grounds for a for cause firing. Get us out of the buy out.

If you really get death threats, you report them to the FBI and local law enforcement authorities, not the media in your weekly press conference.

He just wanted something for Danielson and Nessler to babble about Saturday

I have a Gator buddy that thinks he’s setting up his exit with this.

Could be.

The problem is that, when you throw something like that out there, people are going to sit up and take notice. And you've implied that the entire fan base has unrealistic expectations and that some number of them are completely unhinged, making death threats.

That is a serious claim to make. Its not, "wow, these fans are really expecting a lot!" That's saying there are loon criminals amongst your team's fan base.

Its embarrassing to the entire fan base when he says that. And so it better be for real. And you better be able to show its real.

This is a pretty big turning point I think for him as coach. Your slide into oblivion with Butch Jones has been a slow one. But between the Will Grier fiasco, the suspended players for fraud, and the fact that the offense is not improving at all now several years into it, I think this is one of those situations where MacElwain is fast tracking his departure.
