Agreed about Wolverine being over used. He shot to popularity during Claremont's run, then started crossing over into everything. I quit collecting comics around 2008-09, but even at that point, he had been put into so many different teams at one point or another that I lost count. It was ridiculous. In many ways, I felt they really trashed the character. He was by far my favorite X-Man throughout Claremont's early run. I loved when he infiltrated the Hellfire Club. But, IMO, popularity took a lot from the character.Actually Rocket filled that role pretty well Endgame.
I grew up a huge fan of Wolverine. I was reading his solo book way before I actually started reading X-Men... But the character is way over used.
