Evans has been trending this way since Willis was suspended but has also waffled back and forth a bit. He just had labrum surgery so playing this year appears to be out anyway. He asked and Tennessee granted the release.

If there's anything to this, then it strengthens my thought that they are trying to get a guy who can play this year from the portal. I also wondered if it meant anything in regards to Willis, hope he's still here when the dust settles.
