Medical Treatment Options (The off-season Friday night completely off topic thread)

Wow......could it be that we have a miracle drug at hand and the only people using it are incapable of adequate communication. LOL

LOL.....my opinion is not your problem. The movement to legalize pot is what? 60 years old? Your problem is 60 years of effort have yet to provide adequate information beyond, "I want to get high!"

This is really getting under my skin. The information is out there you asshat. That's why we have over thirty states now that offer medical marihuana. The research is there that shows it's effectiveness with out the harsh side effects of pharmaceuticals. You just refuse to accept it. It is becoming legalized and decriminalized every day. So yes, there are people who can adequently communicate our side of this argument.

I've given you information time and time again that you refuse to respond to, when I stump you. You move to something else. The problem is communication is a two day deal. We need the other end to adequately comprehend the information in front of them.

Or having the other end slowly pass away.

So why are you unable to effect change? Over 60 years, you would think any positive attributes would win out.

Probably the same reason it took so long to end segregation; you seem to think changing people's thinking happens overnight.

Also, you do realizd that people like you are the main reason, right?

I can't believe he isn't picketing to ban alcohol, tobacco, and guns. I mean if the small sample of destruction weed supposedly caused that he witnessed causes him to be this anti-weed, those other 3 things should have caused him to have a nervous breakdown by now.

Your problem with that being the more successful and productive someone is generally correlates well with their ability to avoid illicit drug use. For instance, you idiots attack me as if my opinion had any influence on the legalization of drug use. I am one vote, nothing more. I am mystified how folks such as yourselves have so much difficulty promoting something you feel so sure about. I suppose that is where the "idiot" part comes in to play. LOL

Yeah, well hearsay and STATE LAW......LOL

BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM MONEY. IT ALSO MAKES IT VERY EASY TO FILL THE 90% QUOTA FOR OUR PROFIT DRIVEN PRISON SYSTEM.

You do know what the internet is, right? All of this is out there waiting for you to see it.

I stopped reading after your first sentence. Illicit drug use would definitely hinder someone from achieving certain goals in life.

You do realize that your "one vote" isn't what keeps MJ from being legal. If we had a nation wide vote on it tomorrow, it would be legal.

OK, so you admit your failure, I'm ok with that, Good Afternoon.

I'm okay with your opinion as well.

I'll live my life and you can live yours. That's pretty much the whole point of the country that we live in.

Folks, your desperation is showing. That does nothing to further your argument.

Man you really suck at this.

You've done nothing but declare that because it's illegal, then that means it must be bad and that's all you need to know. It's pretty obvious critical thought is very low on your list of positive attributes, if it even made the list at all.

My bold prediction is that pot will be legal in all 50 states within the next 10 years. How can a supposedly free country lock up productive citizens for growing or using a God given plant on their own property? It simply can't be justified, at least not by free thinkers without a personal agenda.

The greatest harm caused by pot is from the prohibition. We lock up young people with a high percentage of them being nonwhite for marijuana. They then have a record making it even harder to find a decent job. When they can't find a way to earn a good living legally they turn back to the black market. There are people in this country locked up for life for marijuana.

Carl Sagan, and the last three presidents smoked pot. Is it really that harmful?

I might be tempted to avoid using any of the last three Presidents as a reference for anything. LOL

Sagan had terminal cancer, no problem there. The event that ended his life was a bout of Pneumonia that may have been worsened by the smoking of Marijuana, however I have nothing but anecdotal information on that and it would not have altered the eventual outcome.
