Memphis Megaclass?

elaborate

This was before the VN Mobile sig started appearing when people post from a phone.

He claimed to be posting from his phone while at the game - his cover was blown when he butchered the ending. It was the game that UT lost on a last-second tip-in. The game wasn't on TV due to an idiotic decision by JP/LF/Raycom. He posted a description that was nothing like what Bob and Bert said. He never admitted it, and a legend was born.

Memphis will forever out Star us in recruiting....it is how you use them that matters. Either way the State of Tennessee basketball is on a MAJOR RISE. Illinois on the other hand.....every good player in our state goes elsewhere. I hate Weber, and Love Bruce Pearl, and I wish every second of my Winters here that I could just live in Knoxville, the people here are so stubborn about College Basketball.

John Wall, Derrick Favors and others will be at the Memphis Madness as well (Oct 17th).

Henry is a lock. Bet the farm.

Yea, that I know. The longer Wall waits, the more I think he might be going to Memphis. If they both choose Memphis and you combine them with this 2008 class coming in now, it could be scary (if they gel of course).

It will be scary, Memphis will have one hell of a team. I think when all the chips fall, Cal will have the right team to go all the way.

Congrats goes out to coach Self, he picked up a 5 star stud Thomas Robinson. I know Cal was going after this young man, but I think his 09 class will be just fine. :)

It seems there is another player wanting to jump on this 09 class Cal is putting together. The young mans name is Latavious Williams, he is the No. 15 ranked prospect in the Rivals 150. There is a very good chance he might land @ Baylor, but anything could happen.

Just another year in Coach Cal's illustrious career when he will throw the ball on the court and tell his athletes to play. This works incredibly well for Cal throughout the season but for some reason this always seems to fail in the tournament...

Coach Calipari is a great recruiter of talent and pure athleticism. However, he is a pretty poor floor coach and that has cost him time and time again.

Yet again, I was wrong when I thought the level of posts hit rock bottom with the "Coach K looks like a perv" post last night. Sadly, we continue the descent.

Coach Cal isn't that bad. He got them to the championship, and that wasn't on talent alone. Not saying he is championship good, just saying he is a good on the court coach, as well as recruiting.

I have not liked Calipari for a long time, however, I never thought that he had a problem in being a leader to his team. However, that changed when he threw Rose under the bus after the championship game. Either Cal told him to foul and Rose didn't (I know, it is an incredibly tough task to carry out), or Cal made a coaching mistake, risked letting Chalmers get the shot off and then blamed his poor coaching decision on a player he knew would not be back the next season.

If the latter is true, then he is not only a poor leader, he is also a coach who went brain dead at the decisive moment.
