so about the same even if you do not count VCU. Plus UT played 6/7 different opponents, tiggers played 4 different teams.

Going further back in recent history probably favors UT (Gonzaga, Xavier, Temple, Butler, Ohio State with Oden, UNC, Texas, Georgetown, Marquette, Oklahoma State have all been on the regular season schedule the past 5 or 6 years).

And I do not think Belmont or Miami is a marquee game....geez!

You do know two of Belmont's losses last season were to UT, right?

Miami (even sans Reggie Johnson) and Belmont are most likely better teams than UT this season. Miami-Memphis is in the 24 hour kick-off ESPN thing. Belmont may not be a marquee game, but Miami is.

We get it, your kid coach does not want to give the big state school any recruiting advantage, not to mention he has never beaten the big state school.

Since UT is 9-3 vs. tiger high in the last 12 hoops meetings, so I consider it a historical "probable" win. In football, only UK is a more of a "sure" thing than tiger high (over the last quarter century).

the tiger high coach does not want the team he has never won against in his back yard. Said so himself.

the tiger high coach had never won against the team he does not want to play.

These are the facts of the case, and they are undisputed.

Miami will be a good team this year. Laranaga is a Final Four coach, they return just about everyone and Johnson will be healthy by christmas.

We'll see what happens in the UT-Memphis series this season. Should be interesting,

Go on considering it a win. We can make a little wager when game time gets closer this year, straight up, no spread. The board will enjoy watching your sack deflate.

Nice spin there noobie. It is no big deal to me when UT beats tiger high since UT wins with regularity. You sure are looking forward to a game that your team does not want to play.

Tiger high's kid coach has never won a single game against UT. None. Nada. Zilch. He would look like he actually had a pair if he had a win and did not want to play UT anymore.

I get a kick out of "well ESPN wants tiger high to play Belmont, so tiger high has to do what ESPN wants..." Go Belmont! Almost as funny as considering miami a "marquee game". ROFLMAO

a claiming to not want to play a team because the game only helps the opposing team in recruiting is quite a pussified excuse considering this is already an instate rivalry.
