I think nothing is uncalled for in telling persons to enjoy their holiday.

First off, you're a well read guy who appears to feel the need to show this to others.

Second, you already know how modern day Christmas came about and that the Christians basically took other holidays and merged them together to create modern day Christmas.

Third, you could have chosen to leave this topic alone like a grown-up would have but for whatever odd reason you couldn't and felt that you needed to throw a hand grenade into the politics forum.

Fourth, it appears this did not make you feel good enough so you went and created another Christmas thread.

And lastly, you can read as much as you want but without taking the moral high road you will never reach the mental enlightenment that you are supposedly seaking.

I honestly thought more of you.
