Meyer fined $30,000!!!

So he improved from the regular season to the championship game....sounds like there was some good coaching involved there.

There was also coaching involved in losing 4 with the second best team in the country.

in the end, nobody's arguing that the guy isn't one helluva coach. He is. The point is that he's a whiny, effeminate douchebag who muzzles his qb and gets favored status from the conference czar.

alot of teams struggle against top notch D's in the SEC...survive and advance..kinda like this year as well
It isn't the same. Florida changed everything on offense. That is why OSU was so unprepared. Meyer did a good job with that. If Florida brought the offense they used the first 13 games, they would have struggled mightily.

Slive fished with a wide net. Urbie got his azz caught up in it and CLK GOT AWAY!!!!!! I can't stop laughing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would not trade UT's staff for UF's and I doubt Bama would be interested in trading either.

Sounds to me Meyer did a great job coaching his team there, don't you?

9-4 and let our sorry ass team get to the SEC title game. That UF team was the second best team in the country. Offense was far and away the best.

You're joking right?

UF's 2007 defense was absolute garbage. We lost 10 starters on D from the '06 national title team.

That was far from a championship team.

And that has what to do with the level of competition THIS season?

Texas and Alabama haven't looked all-world either.

Alabama has been more impressive in their play than Florida to this point IMO, although I agree that none you mentioned above have set themselves apart from the rest.

There simply isn't one team that looks dominant this year, Florida included. They do not look the same on offense this year and the defense everyone raved about going into the season has been somewhat of a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the Florida D is still very good but they don't look as good as they did last year either.

Bama actually looks better in every facet of the game except passing offense. They have clearly taken a step forward in the running game and on defense while Florida appears to have done the opposite.

Just my opinion, don't get all butt hurt.

Remind me which winning team was more talented besides LSU. UGA? Michigan?
