Meyer fined $30,000!!!

No, because neither of those coaches cry like woman after losing to LSU or whimper to their superiors when their feelings are hurt.

Like it or not, absolutely no one here is afraid of Florida anymore, and we haven't been afraid since Fulmer vacated Knoxville.

Well-stated. Meyer is simply a whinning jerk.

When you get outcoached by someone after spending your entire offseason worrying about that outcome, if you're worth your salt, you simply admit it, and try harder the next year. You don't blame the flu.

Urban knows Kiffin is the better coach and thus has spent a lot of time trying to beat him any way he can... off the field. When Kiffin gets more players and has a team as talented as UF's team, Urban knows exactly what will happen. Kiffin will kick his tail.

Some folks enjoy intelligent discussion with rival fans. Others are so insecure about their program that they must go to the board of their perceived threat in an attempt to tear them down. I guess it is a temporarily band-aid for their insecurities. Take a look at all the Gator Trolls that joined since Fulmer left (someone they were not concerned about). How many Gator Trolls do you think are cruising around the Vandy, USCe, Miss State, etc. sites?

The better question would be how many UT fans are cruising around UF sites?

A: Plenty

I'll be watching the officials for the Ala vs LSU game. What you want to bet the calls go the way of Ala.
If LSU wins, they will go the the SECCG and leave Ala out. Then if LSU can beat the Gators - SEC is out of the NC race.

Exactly what I have been saying for a couple of day now. And it would be just fine with me if the SEC weren't represented. The conference is weak this year anyway.

I doubt anyone is good enough to dominate Meyer, but Kiffin can play him evenly for sure.

That Meyer got out coached a minimum of 3 times that year. Twice against coaches that got fired, and one time a coach that is going to be fired.

And don't counter by trying to argue that Lloyd Carr had a choice in leaving.

So you're saying that UF should have gone 11-1 and won the NC with a crew of FR defensive backs?

UF has sites/ You'd never guess seeing as you guys are always here.

And even if UT fans do post on Gator sites, I doubt they are as annoying or stupid.

:good!: I can understand a Gator troll around here the week of our game, other than LG (and I think he's into S&M), I don't get the concept of coming over here.

I think good rival chatter is cool. The constant puffery of all thinks UF gets old. 2Bits spent the summer telling BPV how great their offense would be.

So why did you wait until after the UF punching bag that was Fulmer left to join here and tell us how bad our program is and how great yours is? Seems like you would have done that before now.

No. I'm saying he was out coached 3 times.

So you're saying that with proper coaching in those three games, we would have been 11-1 and the top ranked team in the country even though we had by far the youngest starters in the SEC.

I'm less convinced of that about Meyer than I am with Saban, especially over the long haul.

Meyer's failure to discipline players makes him an incapable long-term solution for the Gators. He'll leave before the discipline problems take him down, but I hope he stays and tries to prove me wrong.

Meyer's vaunted offense is slowly coming to a hault... and that's with Tebow still at the helm. Meyer needs to move on to another college conference after this season to sustain his legacy. If he stays in the SEC, he'll get all the beatdowns he've given others back in spades. If he goes to the NFL, he'll fail more miserably than either Spurrier or Saban did.

I've got less respect for his coach ability than do most. I'll admit that.

All I'm saying is he got outcoached 3 times that year.
