I'll refer to my previous post, particularly this part:He kept a garbage man on his staff that was responsible for being around players at osu. THAT is the issue! Why are people (not you) glossing over this????
Yes sir.I'll refer to my previous post, particularly this part:
If it's A then my feelings about that university are now equal with my feelings of Urban Meyer. His love for women, upstanding character, devotion to "making these boys not just better players, but better people too", he and that university can shove as far up their asses as they can reach.
I disagree, I think it's both. But the human issue was a direct result of the female issue. By not placing Smith on admin leave as soon as he heard about the domestic abuse against his wife allegations (female issue, only because the spouse is female) he(Meyer) then caused the human issue of allowing a, without all the facts let's say "questionable" character person around 18 to 21 young men entrusted to his care, guidance, and leadership.Because that isn't the issue. It's a human issue, not a female issue.
Oh I agree. They just flat out drew the line. Period. Win games and what you put around your players doesn't matter.
It is VERY black and white.
Oh I agree.
I'm just saying they normally get out in front of it quicker before the media paints you as "x". When that happens you normally cut the cord because you dont have a choice, not because it's the right thing to do in your mind. The old adage , "your sorry you got caught".
OSU got in a spot and "coach" Meyer trumped right and wrong. The press conference was the attempt to put some blame on him (they had to publically) with the suspension but they also shift most of it onto the AD who is really working for Meyer and not under him. I'm kinda surprised they didnt fo all in trying to fire him he must not have been willing to go that far unless they offered him Urbans buyout as severance/hush money.
