Meyer placed on administrative leave. No joke!

Does it bother anybody else that osu just set the bar for what winning football games is worth? It makes me sick.
I was just wondering why the media isn't showing womens groups losing their minds over the slow play and the weak disciplinary response.

He kept a garbage man on his staff that was responsible for being around players at osu. THAT is the issue! Why are people (not you) glossing over this????
I'll refer to my previous post, particularly this part:
If it's A then my feelings about that university are now equal with my feelings of Urban Meyer. His love for women, upstanding character, devotion to "making these boys not just better players, but better people too", he and that university can shove as far up their asses as they can reach.

Urban is a compulsive lying sack of sh-t. Gene Smith is a deceitful sack of sh-t (he ratted out Bruce after we beat OSU and same week Tressel was lying to NCAA) and both those scumbags are 10x the man that POS Zack Smith is...

Yes sir.

This unfortunately is not that surprising given who Meyer is. If this had been a coach at TN, he would have been fired and the school blasted constantly by the media. But, its Ohio State. And its obvious that Meyer is one of the NCAA favorites like Saban. The NCAA continues to show how much of a joke it truly is. Meyer basically got off scot free.

So the Powell Police Department changed the report from 2015 on July 24th that showed Smith being arrested and said that it was changed because the terminology was different back then lol.

Because that isn't the issue. It's a human issue, not a female issue.
I disagree, I think it's both. But the human issue was a direct result of the female issue. By not placing Smith on admin leave as soon as he heard about the domestic abuse against his wife allegations (female issue, only because the spouse is female) he(Meyer) then caused the human issue of allowing a, without all the facts let's say "questionable" character person around 18 to 21 young men entrusted to his care, guidance, and leadership.

When asked what he would say to Courtney Smith, Meyer responded "I'm sorry we're in this situation." He wasn't speaking to her. He was talking to Buckeye football fans. He doesn't give a diaper full of fresh made crap about her... just that he still has a $7.6 million per year job and a good football team this year.

Not McMurphy, but related:

And the lawyer is still in the running for douchebag of the year.

For decades now, I have disliked tOSU for reasons that have never been clear to me. They have no natural rivalry with Tennessee or any other team that I like. The 1995 (season) Citrus Bowl was a great game that I attended with no bad experiences with Buckeye fans. Yet over the years I have continued to dislike their program, rising to a level of outright hate when they hired Urban Meyer in 2011, due to my enmity with him from his days at Florida. This recent set of events has justified my longtime opprobrium of that program and their latest coach. What a miserable human being he is. What a disgusting whitewash by an institution of higher learning.

College Football, like any sport, needs a good villain to provide rooting interests that increase viewership. You may not like teams other than your own, but the stakes feel higher when you see a team you don't otherwise care about playing a team you hate. tOSU will now be that team for everyone but the diehard Buckeye apologists. Whoever plays tOSU on any given week will be America's Team.

They just flat out drew the line. Period. Win games and what you put around your players doesn't matter.

It is VERY black and white.
Oh I agree.

I'm just saying they normally get out in front of it quicker before the media paints you as "x". When that happens you normally cut the cord because you dont have a choice, not because it's the right thing to do in your mind. The old adage , "your sorry you got caught".
OSU got in a spot and "coach" Meyer trumped right and wrong. The press conference was the attempt to put some blame on him (they had to publically) with the suspension but they also shift most of it onto the AD who is really working for Meyer and not under him. I'm kinda surprised they didnt fo all in trying to fire him he must not have been willing to go that far unless they offered him Urbans buyout as severance/hush money.

The whole thing is just hard to believe.

The best part is that the school investigation found that Meyer suffers from “significant memory issues”. Lol what a joke. Guess he just forgot
