I expect him to understand what to do on a 4th down play. He's a D1 QB who has probably been playing football since he was 5 years old.

Not holding onto the ball for 5 seconds on 4th down shouldn't be a foreign concept to him.

Easy to say when you aren’t out there with a left tackle that can’t block. That 4 or 5 seconds flies by.

We have OL who have been playing football since they were young who cannot do extremely simple things like block. Not every D1 player actually knows how to play the game apparently.
