What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

Bump.

Vett this kid as if he's radioactive and could infect the entire lockerroom if any of his old habits and/or attitude are still present, if he passes...sign him up.

A RB of his caliber behind our OL has the potential to be at or near the top in the SEC in rushing per game.

I kind of like Hubbs. But to be honest I have to agree with you Biker. I think they are going after him. He has a had talks with the coaching staff and is following them on twitter as well as some of the players. Ah WTH give him a shot what is their to lose. If he works out brilliant move if not show him the road.

What is his twitter handle?

I think we could easily bump a 2* and make room for him and still hold the extras for next year. Lets be honest, he needs a solid come back year to get the attention of the NFL, and our o-line is his best chance to get that. I don't think he would risk a second chance opportunity. Probably one and done, but I'll take it.

I think we are at 83 or 84 scholarships after NSD so there is definitely a spot.

It's very simple and even Kiffin figured it out with Hood: sit him down in front of the AD and explain he is on strike two already. If he's interested in FB again, there are no second chances and shenanigans of any kind won't be tolerated.

Having a back like this would definitely take the pressure off the staff in terms of having to break in a new starter at QB.

I sure as hell hope CBJ and Co. are giving Dyer a long look. He would be a fantastic pull and well worth the risk, in my opinion.

Bump....heard Butch has talked to him about coming here. I personally would like this, as he would probably give us one good year until we can recruit an elite 2014 rb. And if he messes up, it doesnt look bad on us, just looks bad on him since he would have messed up at 2 SEC schools.

Honestly, Butch looks like the good guy here if MD comes here. If he screws up no sweat off our back. Our current RB situation couldn't be more desperate.

been floating around twitter, VolRumorMill specifically. No one too credible, just a rumor now, but it would make sense as he said he isnt dont recruiting this class and we need a big time RB.

I'd be interested in seeing what Mahlzan does. Dyer did follow him to Arky State and look where he's coaching now

All he needs to do is stay clean for about 6 months and punch his ticket to the NFL. Can he do that? How would he affect team chemistry? He would for sure rip through some defenses.

CBJ has more than enough on his plate. He doesn't need to take a chance on potential trouble. Trouble also could have an effect on others on the team.

Nah man. Trouble is whatever. You think Bama doesn't have any trouble on there team? I want players that ball out and win. This guy has never lost to another SEC team. We could use some of that swag in orange. If he gets in trouble. Then damn, we're right back where we started. Whoopty doo.

WINS

Give him a shot.If he screws up.Cut him loose.

Dude was mvp of Auburn's NC game and Auburn booted him. I'm sure he had a lot more problems that wasn't made public.

He got kicked from Arky st. If I remember correctly a State patrol office got fired over the traffic stop that got him kicked!

IMO Dyer is a take. You cannot doubt the talent is there. Dyer, Neal and Lane sounds good to me.
