Michael Dyer - now Louisville bound (merged)

What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

So is this even remotely a possibility?? Are all these posts coming from one poorly written article on Bleacher Report??

I think Dyer's mind was blown by all of the sudden freedom college gave him. And he made bad decisions. But the article about him having to constintally report to someone about where he was and what he was doing. Even at random times. Sounds like a good plan that I think would work for him in Knoxville as well.

Another thing is this. Theres no way he goes back to AU even though malzons there. And I dont see him going to any where out of the sec either. I think a few good fits for him would be. MSU, USCe, (I hate to say it, but i will because its not gonna happen.) UF, and UT.

No inside info at all but I think MSU would be the best fit for him. I hope he picks UT but I think MSU would be best for him.

Transferred after being suspended indefinitely for violation of unspecified team rules that were later found to be related to natural and synthetic marajuana.

I'm with ya. I watch these kids to play football, not to become well groomed men. Not saying I wish anything bad on them but lets get real, the only reason any of us know these kids names is because we are college football junkies. Just dont cause the team any sanctions and I dont care what you do off the field.

the only thing is he has been out of a good training program for nearly 2 years and readjusting to the speed of the SEC

This was the first issue.

His past troubles were an open book for everybody except those that trash him on here.

He got caught, unlike many that party and never get caught. He left with troubles hanging over his head and ended up at stAte because of Gus. He had the off season speeding incident, with false allegations about mary jane in the car when stopped. When the legal system got through the state patrol officer lost his job. IIRC a police officer uncle in Little Rock took him on. Michael started totally over doing exactly what his uncle and authority figures said to do. He pushed away from all of his past bad influence buds and started over at Arkansas Baptist and has been in counseling for some time now. he finished this semester and has two seasons left.

Sign if at all possible. He will fit like a glove in this system.

think and hope that being slamed from his glory to dirt woke him up a bit,, That being said he had a 3.4 G.P.A hes not dumb, and will he make UT better? yes, bring him in, lets see how it works out,.,.,.

Give the kid a shot. Make him a VOL. If he turns himself around, performs, stay's on the right track, CBJ can use it as a recruiting tool - Look what UT did for Michael Dyer!! If it doesn't work out, UT can spin it that we gave the young man the opportunity that knocked twice and he opened the wrong door. Give the kid a shot.

have to remember though his last incident was only like 9 months ago..pot, reckless driving, gun in car

The problem children are gone. They will not be tolerated in the Jones regime. If Dyer comes he will have to be asked and Jones will have already vetted it.

Truly hope he does. Immediate upgrade that transitions the RB's past Neal and Lane to Hurd hopefully.

Exploring over - sign him up! Can you imagine M. Dyer behind our OL next season. This would give our less than experienced (but very talented) qb's a much better chance of being effective with the passing game.
