Didnt think he was arrested. Just pulled over and fined 175$. Just dont see the big deal. He didnt shoot anyone, wasnt dealing, didnt rob or hurt anyone. Yet Us Vol Fans love Jamal Lewis and still do and he was a Pusher. Just sayn..
Well if he wants to be on ESPN U every week
that 175 fine cost a Arky state trooper his job..cited Dyer for speeding ignoring pot and gun in car
Arkansas trooper fired over Michael Dyer traffic stop - ESPN
I already read that article. Again what exactly has he done that makes him trouble? If you think football players dont smoke weed then your crazy. Did he have a license for the gun and was it his or stolen? Now if it was stolen, used in a crime or the numbers filed off then thats different. But dont think thats the case, not to mention did they prove who's pot it was or drug tested? Point being nothing has come out that shows he is a huge problem child.

Get him right now so he can go through spring practice!! Get him in football shape, learn the offense and theres our 5 star RB for 2013!!
I'm not sure if that gun was registered..I think it was different than the one he gave to a teammate who used it to commit an armed robbery
Dyer's star began to fall last winter, when police traced a gun he owned to an armed robbery involving four teammates the previous summer. Earlier this year, Dyer told a jury at the trial of former wide receiver Antonio Goodwin that he had smoked synthetic marijuana with all four suspects just before the alleged robbery, and let Goodwin borrow the gun. Dyer wasn't charged in the case (Goodwin was convicted in April; the other three suspects are still awaiting trial), but he was subsequently suspended for the Chick-Fil-A Bowl and was off the team for good a few weeks later. Before his dismissal from Arkansas State, the NCAA ruled Dyer would have to sit out the upcoming season and return in 2013 with two years of eligibility remaining.
Agreed. He would look great in Orange and really improve our run game. Just not grtting the whole headcase and trouble label. There are much worse things he could have done. Oh well I am finished trying to argue for him. Hopefully he gets a shot at UT and if not then we will be fine.
The read option needs a solid RB for it to be successful. Not saying Neal and Lane cant succeed in it but having a top back like Dyer would make me feel better. He would also push Neal and Lane and the competition would only make them better imo.
