Michael Sam, Missouri DE, Is Gay

Good for him. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the sports world moving past this whole "be secret about being gay" thing. I could really care less if someone is gay or straight. It really doesnt matter and doesn't affect anything in the sport they play. It shouldn't be a big deal.

Good for him. But now ESPN will blow up about this and it'll be wall-to-wall coverage for the entire week now.

Why do gay people feel the need to tell other people who they are sexually attracted to? We don't care

I agree, gays must have a guilty conscious or feel they have to hide their sexuality and then feel they want special treatment when they come out of the closet.

As long as they stay away from me and my family, I don't care.

Just lost a little more hope for the world.

Publicity stunt.

Now I have to see this on ESPN every day for two weeks straight, draft day, the day after the draft day, the opening game of the year for the team who drafts him, etc...

Who cares. Keep your choices to yourself.

He's a damn good player, though.

Flame away.

It's the gays that are ruining heteronormative nuclear families...

What will happen if a homosexual interacts with your family?

Maybe, or perhaps he's trying to get ahead of it before someone else outs him. His teammates already knew and several NFL teams did too.
