that kind of money matters since it is clearly being paid for with tax dollars but it's more about the attitude coming from the WH. It should scare the hell out of anyone thinking clearly

I trust reputable blogs more than the NYT. FWIW. People that blindly discredit blogs and trust mass media are part of the problem.

It's highly likely you haven't got the first clue if you actually think the POTUS is a dictator, or anything remotely similar. Either that or you just don't know any better. It's likely it's a combination of the two things.

He trusts something that got info from a "source" at The White House who says it "may" be 10 million dollars but it's "impossible" to "know."

Sounds like reputable news reporting to me.

Dumb downed society = the ones that blindly follow their leader without any amount of fair criticism. Even if I take you at your "assumption" that $10 million is not accurate you still have plenty of other documented cases of lavish spending on the part of the Obamas. If you can't see the problem with that type of spending of tax payer money in a recession then I'd say you are part of the dumbed down society.

if it's not accurate to the penny then it's still probably close. Does the direction this pres wants to go with the country not scare you at all? Does the fact he feels like the tax dollars are his personal piggy bank not scare you?

I am disappointed in the POTUS for his lack of leadership and his inability to bring the two sides together. That being said, NO, I am not scared nor do ignorantly believe he thinks the tax dollars are his personal piggy bank.
