The pro rivalries are lame anymore, as a previous poster indicated.

Duke/UNC is a heated rivalry, but not even close to scale of OSU/MICH.

Miami/FSU is a joke. Do they even play every year?

I stated the Fsu Miami was past it's prime. It was my list, not a list for everyone. In its prime, the Fsu Miami game makes Michigan OSU football look like a backyard tag game.

You listed high school games. You should have said this list ridiculously is more laughable than mine for it to be accurate.

You obvioulsy have no idea about Ohio State/Michigan. None whatsoever. Florida State/Miami has nowhere near the vitrol, history, or hatred. It's not even a top 10 rivalry in college sports.

FSU was a women's only college until the 50's and their football history dates back bout 40 yrs. Miami was atrocious until the 80's and again from the mid 90's to 2000. People in FL barely care about that "rivalry" much less people nationally. The gist of that rivalry spans about 10 yrs.

No, unlike you I don't measure the rivalry by the number of obese inbred Midwesterners hatred for each other. I am talking about the games.

Then you know nothing about OSU/UM.

They've played in way more important games than FSU/Miami. That had a national title implication for 15 years and that's it. UM/OSU has been nationally important since the 1930's.

I didn't realize volnation had so many Ohio state mich lovers! Just because you disagree with someone does not mean you must take the position that osu mich is the greatest rivalry in sports.

I cant stand either school. Hatred is a horrible word, but it doesnt go far enough.

HOWEVER, the um -v- o$u rivalry is one of the top 5 in college football. I dont put professional rivalries in the top of any list that includes college sports. Pro sports are their own category.

Not saying greatest, but anybody who doesn't put it at or near the top of college football rivalries has a lot of ignorance and no appreciation of the history of the sport.

It's directly equivalent to somebody not putting Lakers/Celtics (or Magic/Bird) with the all-time great sports rivalries because that person doesn't like basketball.

True; but Missouri sucks at basketball and both KU and Missouri have historically sucked at football. Therefore, it does not have the prestige of the UM-tOSU or the ND-USC rivalries.
