Michigan commit burns Ohio St. letter, posts pic on twitter

Sweety, he has gold pants as a coach on woodys staff.

This plays nothing into the rivalry?

Bo and Woody loved each other, respected each other and hated each other at the same time.

Not only did Bo coach for Woody at O$U, he played for him at Miami (OH) as well. They had a long history together, and wanted to make college football their own kingdom. They wanted everything in CFB to revolve around that last game in November every year.

Im sure that both of them are rolling in their graves at the thought of the Big Ten expansion, and divisions, and the fact that their game no longer has as big of an impact on who wins the conference.

My father is a Michigan fan as are his other 5 brothers as well as his father FYI. After the Vols I follow Michigan. MSU fans have always had inferiority issues with being the little brother in the state of Michigan.

Little brother has beat um A$$$$ for the last 4 years.

I have an uncle and a cousin that are um grads. Nice people in general. Arrogant A$$es when it comes to football. Not basketball. Not baseball. Just football.

oh, and they think they are better people because they are um grads. I dont have as much of a problem with that opinion, because they went to the school, they can be as proud of it as they want.

The um fans that bother me are the ones that never went to the school, (some never went to ANY school) and still claim that um is such an academically superior university, and that MSU is for people that couldnt get into um. Alums from one school can cut on another all they want. FANS should keep their discussions to sports.

I like to bash um fans. Its fun. But it is just sports. Your dad and your uncles, etc, are probably very good people. But this is a sports message board, please dont take my comment personally.

And yes I went to MSU, and I turned down um. Not only did I turn them down, I ticked off my grandmother by turning them down because I would have been a "legacy", and that was her dream. (I also turned down a full music scholly) I couldnt do it. I saw too much of the attitude from my relatives.

Resistance to change is a virtue?

You will very seldom find me agreeing with anything that Bo or Woody thought. And this is no exception.

Im all for a playoff. My theory is that we will eventually have four to six 16 team superconferences. They will be split into 4 team divisions. You will have Division Championship games that will determine who goes to the Conference Championship games. Winners of the Conference Championship games plus 2-4 at large teams (depending on how many conferences we end up with), will be the NCAA Field.

Change is good.

Lance against the alps would have to be top five

Just off the top of my head, understand I really only watch college football now. So this is lurking back in to my memory when I watched other things.

Red sox Yankees
Lakers celtics
Duke UNC
Bama auburn
Miami fsu

You could also get in to foreign soccer which I know little of but know there are obviously rivalries more heated than OSU and UM.
Really? :eek:lol:

Any top 10 list would have the UM/tOSU rivalry as one of the best in sports. Most in the top 5, some with it listed as the biggest. Don't believe me, then Google it.

Dude you are being ignorant because of the biased shell you inhabit. You obviously have no idea what composes this rivalry so it must be "overblown pumped up bs" get a clue before you spew mindless garbage. It is one of the greatest rivalries in college sports dating back decades and decades and encompassing numerous legendary coaches.. I wish you could have had the chance to tell Woody Hayes and Bo Schembechler how overblown this rivalry is.. you would reconsider your stance I assure you. However, your ignorance would in most likelihood blind any sense of reality.

Valid argument except for the 99% stupidity part of it. If I was living in a shell then I would have listed UT v. Bama.

It is not a top 5 rivalry in sports no matter how many talking heads have pushed that thought into your head. Just because obese northern retard fans can muster up extreme angst towards one another doesn't give it some lofty spot in the athletics hierarchy.

That would be sick if one of our recruits burned a Bama or Florida letter!

My daughter (no pics) received letters from FreeShoes and u of mich on the same day. She picked them up with salad tongs and dropped them in the trash, un-opened. We received phone calls and emails from both also, and she refused to answer any of them.

She is now a Vol. Yall can take that as a compliment if you want.
