Nope. It never will be. EVER.

truth.

The two schools hate each other. The fans hate each other. Graduates of one school wont hire graduates of the other. You dont marry across the school lines. You dont schedule weddings on the last saturday of football season.

Its hatred. And it is a cultural thing, it goes way beyond sports. I cant stand either school, but I respect that they are one of the biggest rivalries in sports.

The former is fantasy.

1.) Great work ethic?

2.) Unable to distinguish former from latter?

1) Salaried, and my boss gets far more than 40hrs worth of actual work out of me every week.

2) I knew what you were saying. It was more a matter of not understanding why you would say it. I lived in the state of Michigan for 40 years. I have worked for O$U, and I have relatives that went to um. Ive seen some very stupid sides to that rivalry. um fans are the most delusional fans on the planet, but they are followed closely by O$U fans.

d) I still dont understand your obsession with me in this thread. Is it the MSU Sweatshirt? Is it a Gator thing?

I merely enjoy simpletons

As hard as this may be to believe, if you take the average UT, UF and Bama fan, and SUBTRACT their IQ's from each other, the result is higher than the average um fan's IQ.

They still believe that the invented football, and that Bo was God himself. And they still live in a world where the um -v- O$U game was the be-all and end-all in Big Ten football. (and also still believe that the Big Ten is the greatest conference on the planet).

Im a huge Big Ten Football fan, but the um-O$U game just doesnt mean what it used to in the grand scheme of things. The rivalry is still the same, but the result of the game means much less now.

My father is a Michigan fan as are his other 5 brothers as well as his father FYI. After the Vols I follow Michigan. MSU fans have always had inferiority issues with being the little brother in the state of Michigan.
