I think any official announcement will come from the family and UMMC through some sort of press release or conference. Too much room for error on social media outlets. Continued prayers for the family.

Yep. It would appear that we have a bunch of erstwhile “reporters” who want to think they are all that if they can just break the news first. Kind of sick if you ask me.

They've already started a thread on a Miss. State board on who the next football coach should be. Talk about classless and inappropriate--
and when one guy called out the group throwing out names, some of them got indignant and claimed that this was simply their way of dealing
with the situation. Well, guy, it remains stupid and grossly inappropriate.

All the random nobodies on the internet trying to report Mike Leach’s death based on what they heard from a friend are making me sick. 24 hours of it. Why do people do this? It’s the families right to disclose it when and if it happens. These people hear a rumor and feel a need to post it so they can appear to be in the know. So trashy.

If Auburn hadn’t of already snagged Freeze I would say Miss. St should go after him. Could you imagine that? Freeze at Miss. St in the Egg Bowl vs Kiffin and his old team. Hopefully Leach survives and makes it thru this but I doubt he will ever coach again if he does.
