Yup!!! I don't get mad if a player on my favorite NFL team holds out for a new contract. It's business, and college football is no different now. U would probably be amazed if u truly knew how many of our VFL's stayed or came throughout the years because of "Benefits".

I'm old and I've known it was a matter of pay to play for many decades.

The VFL "who is and who isn't" debate for me is silly. Making good decisions is what we expect good players to do. Why should that be any different when it comes to their college careers?

People want these guys to "learn to make the right move" only on the hardwood or diamond or field and not in their business/college career.

It's dumb.

I said this last week. He is gonna be our go to guy next season and he deserves that recognition. He got his bag and he's gonna be a bad bad dude for us for the next couple years. He's a VFL. No worries. He never showed any signs of going elsewhere.

Not me. I don’t get mad at who goes, don'get excited about who comes here, etc etc. I get excited for game day and don’t get wrapped up anymore in the players. I don’t even follow it that much , I just wait for it all to get sorted out. There is the spring portal window as well, so I’m not getting attached to anyone. Never know who may decide to bolt in a few months.
