Exactly. Because this a prime example of what happens. Was there ever a threat or a care of a non producing player leaving just because he’s an upper classman but doesn’t play enough? Not really, and if it does happen who cares. But when your younger talent starts leaving due to lack of playing time, you’ve got issues.

Josh is a good coach, glad to have him, but he’s also a very nice guy. The best coaches have some a-hole in them, he might want to start digging that side out soon.

What specifically did you find interesting?

Think there’s no love lost between them and Kelsey pope that’s for sure. Seems like the receivers in the WR room were just as puzzled as everyone else as to why Matthews wasn’t getting more snaps, specifically mentioned him only getting in for 2 plays against Oklahoma as something stupid. Did point out that the staff got everyone they really wanted to stay, except Matthews. Supposedly Staley’s dad is going off in their HS Facebook group, not sure if it’s about all the transfers or complaining about the staff/UT. Joked about Staley getting so much playing time against OSU and how one play he was still looking at the sideline when the ball was snapped and had no clue

He was also hurt the vast majority of the year and COULD NOT PLAY/ I guess under utilized …so there’s that. TN won 10 games two out of the last 4 years. They’re not in major trouble.
