A caravan migrant from Honduras who complained about being given beans to eat during her journey through Mexico is now in a Texas jail facing one charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The woman became the topic of a viral video during her journey. The woman’s sister is also facing similar charges and both have an immigration detainer placed on them preventing them from bonding out.

Jail records from Dallas County jail revealed that Mirian Zelaya and Mirna Zelaya are both being held in a detention center on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. While jail records do not reveal the details that led to the charge, the news outlet Mundo Hispanico revealed that the two women allegedly beat another woman who was providing them with housing.

I was filling up with gas at a station on Edisto Island in South Carolina last week and there was a truck full of Hispanics that pulled up next to me. Not a one of them spoke English the entire time they were there and the store clerk had to come out and show the one pumping the gas how to stop the pump so one of them could pay. English will soon be a second language in this country.

So what do we do with those who work under the table, sell drugs, gangmembers, prostitution rings and drug smugglers? This covers none of those groups. They are already in the country and would have to be apprehended. Wouldn't it make more sense to keep them out of the country in the first place?

President Trump’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is continuing its mass release of border crossers and illegal aliens into the interior of the United States, most recently releasing more than 17,000 migrants in less than two weeks.

The Catch and Release process often entails federal immigration officials busing border crossers into nearby border cities and dropping them off with the promise that they will show up for their immigration and asylum hearings, sometimes years later. The overwhelming majority of border crossers and illegal aliens are never deported from the country once they are released into the U.S.

He's also going to give Mexico a year to stop drugs from coming into USA and to stop illegals or he will close the border and add tariffs to Mexico's car industry. Somehow I doubt any of that will happen, especially during an election year. He better get that wall built or it may just cost him re-election.

Depends on what you are willing to do along with the wall and how serious you are about making sure your border is locked tight.

Watched Abandoned Engineering last night on the wall Russia built for the entirety of the border of all East/West Germany, not just the Berlin Wall.

They went from around 1 million people leaving annual, to under 1% to basically no one leaving within a few years. They made it pretty impossible to get out of East Germany. I just don't think Americans could handle electric fences with placed explosives and guard towers. But, their wall was pretty darn effective.
