Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

OK, if that offends you, then why should our immigration laws not incorporate major parts of what western Europe uses (you know the really developed people with the liberally enlightened or "progressive" social programs)? No birthright citizenship? Without birthright citizenship, there are no anchor babies; without anchor babies, there are no tentacles to snag family members and eventually extended family members into the fold. Then you never have to worry about separating illegal aliens from their US citizen brats.

You're just deflecting from my point. We're not against legal immigration right? Legal immigrants, including refugees/asylum seekers, have high employment rates and low crime rates. Why are we being so harsh towards asylum seekers then?

These American Citizens were killed by illegal immigrants

These are the stakes people.

We're not talking about illegals. Legitimate asylum seekers are legal.

The first large group of 116 migrants from AFRICA are caught on video wading across the Rio Grande to illegally enter the U.S.

Shocking video has emerged showing the first large group of migrants from Africa wading across the Rio Grande River to illegally enter the United States.

The video shared by the Customs and Border Protection shows a group of 116 people from Angola, Cameroon and the Congo walking through the waist-deep water into Texas.

Male and female adults are seen making the laborious trek with children clinging onto their shoulders on Thursday.

The group was apprehended by agents at the Del Rio Sector of the border around 10.30pm.

The White House also shared video of the harrowing scene showing the moment the group file out of the water and reach the shore in a line.

Huff, you are the last person who should be chastising someone for slipping around the edge on an argument. So tell us how we know the exact number of people unofficially here, their employment rate, and their crime rate. If you can do that, then don't you think the census question would be resolved, and how would the government answer to a charge of neglecting to enforce the law? For starters, yeah, there is probably is reasonably high employment among illegals ... they aren't likely union or working for minimum wage, but how is the government not complicit if they have all the facts (to support your supposition on employment and crime) without ensuring these people are paid minimum wage, benefits, etc? To answer your question with a question: why are we applying traffic rules and being so harsh toward drivers, or why are we applying criminal law and being so harsh toward murderers and thieves (at least of the blue collar type)?

Why are you asking me about illegals ("unofficially here") when my point is about legal immigrants, spevifically refugees/asylum seekers?

Only after they have been granted asylum. Until then they entered the country outside of our laws, that makes their presence "illegal."

No kidding. They illegally enter because we don't follow the law and we refuse/stall them. I'm saying we shouldn't be refusing in the first place. Why do you care so much that they follow the process but you don't care when we don't? It would greatly help reduce the occurence of illegal immigration.

We don't follow the law mostly because of liberals/sanctuary cities. I do care that we do not follow immigration law passed by Congress. Too bad that the "deciders" don't give a RA because the illegal immigrants plight is secondary (or thirdary) to their agendas. They are seen as a tool and not much else. But because we don't have our house in order does not excuse someone breaking into this country without permission. Do you steal when you find a door unlocked because you really need the money?

You need to direct your ire regarding this to the bleeding heart liberals who have allowed this "insane asylum" to take place.

Besides, your example was deported from Mexico. Your beef is misplaced, habla Espanol?

If they're here illegally then they are not asylum seekers. They're criminals.

They can be both. Eithet way, I already covered this.
Does that mean you're done?

Too bad the majority of those coming in illegally are doing so for economic reasons and are being taught to lie about the need for asylum. This makes it so much worse for those who truely need it. Abuse of the system leads to all being put into the "send them all back" attitude that is starting to take place because of the enormity of the situation that continues to grow. Where's your cry about all that? Those who come here falsely seeking asylum are just as responsible (if not more so) for your upset about what happened to that woman than who you are trying to blame.

So you agree we should expediently allow all legit asylum seekers? Why are you arguing with me then?

You should give a break to a VETERAN that did something so you can continue to run your mouth in the USA; not some illegal that will be nothing but a leach on the system.
So you can’t be both pro Veteran and pro following our own immigration laws as currently written?

You're arguing with me. :)

You well know that the problem of determining legit asylum seekers cannot take place until they are sorted out of the mountain of illegitimate "asylum" seekers so it can't be done expediently under the present circumstances. Those who are "jobbing" the system are also "jobbing" those with legitimate reasons for needing to come here.

If they went to a consulate, they would be probably be heard and granted permission to enter but they are choosing to join in with all the others seeking a better economic situation in an effort to "job" the system by overwhelming it with sheer numbers. They are as much to blame for their situation by the way they have chosen to get here. They have made the choice that it is better to break the law then to follow it because they deem it will be more efficient. Tough choice but all choices have consequences, both good and bad.

Trust but not verify? How do you expediently process tens of thousands in a caravan? It's intentionally done to overwhelm the system. Distraction (or your favorite "diversion") bog the system down with masses, so individuals can't be investigated ... the forest and the trees.

Expedient is a relative term. Why shouldn't we expect expediency?

Our system isn't overwhelmed as much as it's intentionally bottlenecked. Again, if the system hasn't been working, why do legals have low crime rates and high employment? It was working and Trump's admin is gumming up the works

Why do illegals have 100% crime rate?
