Millions of Illegal Aliens From All Over The World Head For U.S. Border

The Jews throughout Nazi occupied Europe faced ethnic genocide. Jews in what became the Soviet Union faced pogroms ... again discrimination at the very least and generally just a different style of ethnic genocide. They were decidedly not part of the ruling class.

The Americas south of the US are generally all Hispanic ... certainly Guatemala, Honduras, Columbia, and other places run by gangs and cartels. They've had at least a couple of centuries to clean up their act, but corruption is still a way of life. So, yeah, I see a major difference when one group is isolated, marked, and mistreated (to put it kindly) because of their religion; while the other (with no anomalous racial/ethnic/religious identity) can seem to get it's act together to run but not to fight.

Total ********, but again, whatever helps you sleep at night.

What does it matter what race they are threatened and/or oppressed by? Are they somehow less victimized by corruption and gang violence because they are hispanic?

This is not a very well thought out distinction. Didn't you also say you wouldn't vote for someome with an accent because they didn't know what it meant to be American? I eagerly await your manifesto.

Of course they’re less victimized. South/central Americans aren’t targeted for being South/central Americans. Were Jews not targeted for being Jews? Did the Jews have any opportunity to stand up against their oppression? Do the South/central Americans have any opportunity to make their home better but choose not to?

Gee, I thought it would be fairly obvious. One group was excluded not only from the ruling class where they could have made a difference but also from life. The other group faced no such distinction.

I don't believe in racial inequality, but I do believe in cultural inequality, and I haven't seen a lot that's positive from the Hispanic brand. Puerto Rico is a US territory; it get's plenty of aid, has some decent industry, and is still a mess because the people there can't get their act together and run the damn place.

Do you think people getting murdered care if the event is called "ethnic genocide" or not?

How can you say the victims created the problem? Completely asinine, but anything to help you sleep at night, I suppose.

Meanwhile welfare to Israel is a good idea? Good God

You’re such a drama queen.

Mexico deploys military to curb migration, reportedly offers major concessions as Trump tariffs loom

Arrests along the southern border have skyrocketed in recent months, with border agents making more than 100,000 arrests or denials of entry in March, a 12-year high. Immigration courts that process asylum claims currently have faced a backlog of more than 800,000 cases and asylum applicants increasingly have been staying in the U.S. even after their claims for asylum have been denied.

Nearly a million people requesting "asylum" in the US? Can I get "they were coached to say that for $2,000 Alex?"

No problem, we shut the border down completely, turn away everyone, and until the back log is back to at least manageable, the spout is turned off. Can't keep adding to it, the time and cost to just deal with the back log is too much.

We have 7 million unfilled jobs in America. 800k asylum seekers sounds good. Even if some people are gaming us, once again, legal immigrants have high employment rates and low crime rates. We want/need them here.

We did the asylum/amnesty thing back in the Reagan days. The border security part was kicked down the road, and here we are again. You are correct. Do it in the proper order this time ... fix the border, then deal with the people who want to cross ... at recognized crossings and as immigration policy dictates.

REPORT: ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS ARE FLYING ALL OVER THE US — WITHOUT VALID ID

When some illegal immigrants are released by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), they are literally flying from the border, reportedly without valid identification.

The border crisis has put such a strain on bus lines and local accommodation that the Transport Security Administration (TSA) is apparently violating its own security measures, the Washington Examiner reported Friday.

For six months now, the TSA has been ignoring the rules it created to make the skies safer for travelers in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. There are 15 documents that the TSA considers to be valid for a passenger to board an aircraft. Illegal immigrants typically hold none of these.

Since January, ICE has been forced to release more than 200,000 migrants who arrived illegally to the U.S. but arrived nonetheless as a family. According to the Examiner, a 2015 court order forbade ICE from keeping families in detention for more than 20 days so when that time limit is reached, the agency usually drops the migrants off on the streets or at a bus station where they are free to travel. (RELATED: Report: ICE Dumps Off Illegal Immigrants On Streets Of Texas)

But some are choosing to travel by air. Yet the TSA website says anyone over the age 18 who hopes to board a domestic or international flight “must show valid identification at the airport checkpoint in order to travel.”

The only document migrants might have in their possession would be a Notice To Appear (NTA) paper, something they receive from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) after their initial refugee assessment. The document is a literal promise to appear before an immigration judge who will decide whether the migrant is a real refugee or not. Here's the thing, Huff. I've said for a long time the immigration system as a whole is broken and in need of an overhaul. People wait too long to get in with what should be an easier process.

Mexico Claims Some Migrant Caravan Funding Came from U.S., England

Mexican tax officials froze the assets of 26 individuals and entities they allege are tied to human smuggling organizations or to promoting Central American migrant caravans. The caravans moved thousands of individuals from the “northern triangle” through Mexico to the U.S. border. The funding for the migrant caravans allegedly came from the U.S., England, Africa, and Central America.

Through a prepared statement, Mexico’s Finance and Tax Secretariat (SHCP) announced the freezing of the accounts claiming the move resulted from an investigation by their Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF).

The operation tracked financial movements from October 2018 through current dates in an attempt to determine the sources of funding for the migrant caravans. According to their statement, the UIF identified a group of individuals that made several questionable international financial transactions from the cities of Chiapas and Queretaro during the times that the migrant caravans were moving through those places.

Mexican authorities followed the path of the caravans and the financial operations from Queretaro to the border cities of Tijuana, Nogales, Ciudad Juarez, Ciudad Acuna, Piedras Negras, and Reynosa. Based on that information, Mexican authorities were able to trace the source of the funds to the U.S., England, Cameroon, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, the statement revealed.

Based on the result of the investigation, the UIF moved to freeze the accounts in Mexico of the 26 individuals and entities that are believed to have helped fund the migrant caravans or contributed to human smuggling organizations, the SHCP statement revealed. While authorities did not name the individuals or the entities whose assets they froze, they revealed that they would be filing complaints with Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office for prosecution.

The action comes at a time when Mexican officials are meeting with their U.S. counterparts in an attempt to keep the Trump administration from levying tariffs on international commerce as a punitive measure over the country’s lax approach to migration. The threat of tariffs has led to a series of posturing and threats from both sides, Breitbart News reported.

Report says Mexico pledged to send 6,000 troops to southern border

'Safe Third Country' asylum deal is also on the table at migration-tariff talks in Washington

Mexico has pledged to deploy up to 6,000 National Guard troops to the southern border in an attempt to reach a deal to avoid a tariff on all exports to the United States, The Washington Post reported.

Mexican officials told United States government representatives in Washington today that the large security deployment will bring an immediate reduction to the large number of Central Americans traveling through Mexico to the U.S. border.
