Exclusive — Gov. Ron DeSantis Hangs ’Florida Uses E-Verify’ Signs on All Highways into Sunshine State

Highway-Sign-Florida-Uses-E-Verify-640x480.jpg

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has hung signs on all the major interstate highways entering Florida informing everyone traveling by road into the state that the Sunshine State has implemented E-Verify, a background check system for employers to see if prospective hires are in fact legally authorized to work in the United States.

The signs, DeSantis’s office told Breitbart News, are now visible on all three main interstate gateways into Florida along I-10, I-95, and I-75. The signs come after Florida’s legislature last year passed E-Verify measures which DeSantis signed into law last summer.

“Homeless Liaison” for County Schools has this kind of power?

The feds hold the purse strings; you do it their way or lose funding. When they told states 55 MPH or you lose highway funds and it stuck, they had it all wrapped up. We'll tax your citizens and then redistribute the money back to you IF you do what we tell you to do. Puts a whole new twist on the "other things" clause.

EXCLUSIVE: 'It's like trying to plug a leaky dam.' US Border officials in Roma, Texas are joined by DailyMail.com as they search for migrant 'runners' attempting to sneak in unnoticed while law enforcement handle 'give-up' families

  • DailyMail.com joined US Border agents on dusk patrol Sunday in Roma, Texas, where Mexican cartels are ferrying hundreds of migrants over the Rio Grande and into the US every night
  • More than 75 per cent of arrivals that come on flimsy rafts are considered 'give-ups', who walk meekly into US custody in the hope of getting asylum
  • Then there are the 'runners', who aim to slip through a dragnet while border officials are handling 'give-ups'
Sheriff's Lieutenant Erasmo Rios hoists up his M4 rifle and slaps in a magazine.

'OK, it's time,' he says.

As we head across open ground, the officer finalizes his nightly ritual by hauling back the weapon's cocking handle and slamming a 5.56mm round into the chamber.

'We take huge precautions, of course we do,' he tells DailyMail.com. 'Those guys on the other side, they might have us in their sights.'

'Those guys' are the cartels just a few hundred feet away on the Mexican bank of the Rio Grande that are currently ferrying hundreds of migrants over the river into the US every night in a surge that is stretching immigration enforcement to breaking point.

DailyMail.com joined Lt Rios and Deputy Erika Lara of Starr County Sheriff's Office on dusk patrol as they targeted runners.

Sanctuary State California: Illegal Alien Repeatedly Raped Child After Failing to Be Deported

FA-640x480.png

An illegal alien has been convicted and sentenced for repeatedly raping a child after federal immigration officials failed to deport him in the sanctuary state of California, Breitbart News has learned.

Fredys Aguilar-Menjivar, a 31-year-old illegal alien from El Salvador, was convicted and sentenced to 45 years in prison in Monterey County, California, this month on three counts of forcible rape of a child under 14-years-old and one count of child molestation, the District Attorney’s Office announced.

According to prosecutors, Aguilar-Menjivar raped a girl in his family multiple times from August 2018 to March 2020. The girl was younger than 14-years-old when the abuse started.

Other family members found out about the child sexual abuse when a family member walked in on Aguilar-Menjivar raping the girl at a family party. The girl tried to stop Aguilar-Menjivar during the abuse but prosecutors said he threatened her and her parents if she screamed for help.

This is the kind of person the Democrats think of as a highly upstanding educated citizen in the community & they want to protect him from the authorities of ever being deported out of this country ..... just so he'll be voting for Democrats to keep their evil thinking & their evil ways in power. Thanks, sanctuary cities ... doing a good job.

EXCLUSIVE: US Border Patrol and police officers in Tactical Gear are seen in dramatic Raid of Migrant 'stash house' in Texas where Mexican Coyotes were harboring six illegal immigrants

US Border Patrol agents and heavily-armed police officers were seen raiding a migrant 'stash house' near the Mexican border where six undocumented immigrants were being held after being smuggled into the US by human traffickers.

Photos taken by DailyMail.com show law enforcement officers in tactical gear descending on a one-story home Monday in La Joya, Texas, just two miles from the border, after receiving a tip that migrants were being 'forced inside.'

Members of the Mexican cartel are known to use properties and 'stash houses' in border towns to temporarily hold migrants they've smuggled into the country. Some immigrants are held for ransom by the coyotes who refuse to let them leave unless their families buy their freedom.

Border Patrol Nabs 3 Convicted CHILD Sex Offenders in 2 days, amid migrant surge

Border Patrol agents in Texas picked up three convicted child sex offenders among groups of illegal immigrants in just two days -- the latest sign of the potential dangers posed by the migrant surge at the southern border.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) said that Border Patrol in Brownsville apprehended a group of nine illegal immigrants on Tuesday. That group included a Honduran national with a conviction in Minnesota for criminal sexual conduct with a minor under the age of 13.

On Wednesday, agents in McAllen stopped 15 illegal immigrants -- including another Honduran who had been arrested in Virginia and charged with aggravated sexual battery of a victim under 13. He was convicted and sentenced to five years.

A CBP release included a disturbing detail that the Honduran was traveling as part of a group that included two children traveling without a guardian.

Later in the day, Border Patrol agents in Rio Grande City apprehended another group of illegal immigrants near Roma, which included an El Salvadoran who had been charged with aggravated child molestation in Georgia. He was convicted and also sentenced to five years in jail. He too was traveling as part of a group that included an unaccompanied child.

Why are they called “asylum seekers”?! Hey CBP was right there all they had to do was request asylum. If I didn’t know better I’d assume they had no intention of declaring asylum and were just looking to enter the country illegally.... Naaaaaaah! That couldn’t be it.

'They clearly were Not admitted at the borders': Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas pushes back on bid to let 400,000 illegal immigrants apply for green cards

  • Elena Kagan also cast doubt on whether the law broadly considers people who the government categorizes as 'non-immigrants'
U.S. Supreme Court justices on Monday appeared reluctant to let people who have been allowed to stay in the United States on humanitarian grounds apply to become permanent residents if they entered the country illegally.

The justices heard arguments in an appeal by a married couple from El Salvador who were granted so-called Temporary Protected Status of a lower court ruling that barred their applications for permanent residency, also known as a green card, because of their unlawful entry.

'They clearly were not admitted at the borders, so is that a fiction, is it metaphysical, what is it? I don't know,' conservative Justice Clarence Thomas asked.

A federal law called the Immigration and Nationality Act generally requires that people seeking to become permanent residents have been 'inspected and admitted' into the United States.

Some justices suggested it might be a stretch to interpret the law as deeming the plaintiffs 'admitted.'
