I disagree that it’s impossible Reducing legal/illegal immigration is simple. Simply reduce the number of visas, and establish punishments for companies that hire illegals.

What makes you think reducing immigration is this insurmountable hurdle?

Reducing visas has been tried. Companies do get punished. It doesn't solve it. Your solutions restrict the freedoms of Americans and they haven't worked.

If the punishment costs less than the cost of using illegal/foreign labor, then it’s not a punishment. It’s a cost of doing business.


Again, I don’t understand the premise of how more job opportunities for American citizens (via the reduction of visas for foreigners and punishment that makes illegal labor cost prohibitive) reduces freedom for Americans.

Easy way to stop illegals crossing the border is to use the same tactics this country uses against its own citizens.
If rubber bullets, pepper spray and tear gas are acceptable tactics for riot control they’re acceptable tactics for border control.
The left didn’t have an issue with those tactics being used on J/6 and the right didn’t have an issue with them being used during the Summer 2020 riots so using them on non-citizen illegals should be no issue either.

She has to keep her voter base out of jail so they're able to vote for her when the time comes.

What people aren’t really talking about is the Republican token resistance. They had the house, senate and presidency with Trump yet nothing meaningful happened.

While Democrats are more pro-illegals, Republicans aren’t that different from their counterparts.

The New York Times issued a correction after claiming that border patrol agents were whipping Haitian migrants with horse reins.

The original article, which was published Friday, covered President Joe Biden’s comments that border patrol officers accused of mistreating Haitian migrants would “pay” for their actions.

In the correction, the NYT admitted that the original article “overstated” what was going on at the border.

“An earlier version of this article overstated what is known about the behavior of some Border Patrol agents on horseback,” the correction read. “While the agents waved their reins while pushing migrants back into the Rio Grande, The Times has not seen conclusive evidence that migrants were struck with the reins.”

The Republican National Committee (RNC) is taking action against new voting laws in Vermont, Fox News first reported on Tuesday. Along with the Vermont GOP, the RNC is taking the cities of Montpelier and Winooski to court over new edicts that allow non-citizens to vote.

The committee said that the new provisions were a violation of the constitution, and part of a “far-left assault” on election integrity.

It has led to violence that has injured Border Patrol officers.

Because that's what it is, said Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales, the freshman Republican who represents 42% of the border. The overwhelmed city of Del Rio had been in a rapidly deteriorating crisis situation when illegal immigrants first began surging into the community in January, but Gonzales now says the situation here is a "Category 5" and that the environment is unlike anything he has ever seen before.
