Police Seek ‘Mexican Male’ in Shooting That Killed 5 in Texas

Law enforcement officials are seeking a “Mexican male” in connection with a shooting that left five people dead in Cleveland, Texas, Friday night, Fox News reports.

The San Jacinto Sheriff’s Office received a “harassment” call and responding deputies found four victims shot to death and an eight-year-old boy critically wounded.

The boy was transported to a hospital, where he died.

Bluebonnet News notes that all the victims were from Honduras.

He said the Mexican man “has been known to shoot his .223 in the front yard, which is evident from the shell casings in the front yard.”

ABC News reports that San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers believes the homicides occurred after the suspect became enraged over being asked to quit shooting a gun in his front yard.

Capers said, “My understanding is that the victims, they came over to the fence and said ‘Hey could [you not do your] shooting out in the yard? We have a young baby that’s trying to go to sleep,’ and he had been drinking and he says ‘I’ll do what I want to in my front yard.'”

Four Iraqi Migrants Apprehended in Florida Maritime Smuggling Incident

Miami Sector Border Patrol officials report the apprehension of four Iraqi nationals during a “suspected maritime smuggling event.”

Miami Sector Chief Patrol Agent Walter Slosar tweeted a report that his agents, along with other law enforcement partners, responded to a maritime smuggling incident near Miami Beach on Friday morning.

During the processing of the migrants, the agents identified four as citizens of Iraq.

The migrants arrived during a boat landing at Miami Beach near the W South Beach luxury hotel, Local10.com reported. The landing took place near the Miami Beach Boardwalk.

Federal law enforcement authorities took custody of the four Iraqi nationals and will conduct an investigation into the human smuggling incident.

I tend to look at the span of years between when Clinton took office until Trump took office as generally unbroken democrat rule. Bush 2 was no republican. Democrat rule may really extend back to the end of the Reagan days, but I still think of Bush 1 as a decent guy even if a bit too moderate.

CLEVLAND, Texas — Immigration officers deported the Mexican man wanted in connection to Friday night’s alleged murder of five Honduran nationals on three occasions, according to the Texas sheriff leading the investigation. The most recent removal came in 2016.

San Jacinto County Sheriff Greg Capers told Breitbart Texas on Sunday that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers deported 38-year-old Francisco Oropeza, a Mexican national now wanted for five alleged murders, in three separate incidents. Sheriff Capers and other sources advised that the last time ICE officers removed Oropeza was in 2016.

Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) said in an interview over the weekend that the illegal immigration crisis on the U.S. southern border is set to get significantly worse as the Biden administration is letting the Title 42 emergency order expire.

“Homeland Security is looking at 10,000 people per day potentially crossing the border,” Brennan said. “Do the agents you represent have what they need to deal with the surge?”

“They do not, Margaret,” Gonzales responded. “And this is honestly the fourth time that we’ve seen this Title 42 is going to end and every time we come to this situation before the crisis is this uptick in illegal immigration and we’re seeing that now whether it’s Brownsville, whether it’s Eagle Pass or whether it’s El Paso.”

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) is calling out President Joe Biden for his plan to send 1,500 United States troops to the U.S.-Mexico border, calling it a “publicity stunt” that will help get border crossers and illegal aliens into the nation’s interior even quicker.

On Tuesday, Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it requested some 1,500 U.S. troops to be deployed to the southern border as the administration is set to end one of its last border controls, known as Title 42, on May 11.

The active-duty troops, DHS officials said, will not be enforcing federal immigration law at the border but instead “will be performing non-law enforcement duties such as ground-based detection and monitoring, data entry, and warehouse support.”

The troops, officials continued, “have never, and will not, perform law enforcement activities or interact with migrants or other individuals in DHS custody.”

In an exclusive statement to Breitbart News, Cotton suggested the initiative is a mere “publicity stunt” designed to confuse Americans who may believe the administration is taking the pending waves of illegal immigration, following Title 42’s end, seriously while actually having troops help more quickly release border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior.

As many as 700,000 migrants, a foreign population larger than Boston, Massachusetts, are currently in Mexico waiting to rush the United States-Mexico border when President Joe Biden ends the public health authority known as Title 42 on May 11.

In 2020, in the midst of the Chinese coronavirus crisis, former President Donald Trump invoked the public health authority known as Title 42 at the border, ensuring that federal immigration officials have been able to quickly return millions of illegal aliens to Mexico over the last three years.

On May 11, though, Biden will end Title 42 and expand its Catch and Release network to quickly move border crossers and illegal aliens into the U.S. interior — including deploying 1,500 U.S. troops to the border to free up federal immigration officials to process arrivals at a faster pace.

During a Yuma County Board of Supervisors meeting this week, supervisor Jonathan Lines revealed that Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials have warned them that as many as 700,000 migrants are waiting in Mexico to rush the border when Title 42 ends.

Such a “mass migration event,” as Lines said DHS officials called it, would see a foreign population arriving at the border that exceeds the resident population of cities like Boston and Nashville, Tennessee.

Housing, medical care, fed assistance programs, schooling. Think about say 2000 new arrivals in one month in Tennessee's 4 largest cities. Then say 10M more in next year on top of say 4- 6 million in past 2 years.

If the mayors of black American cities are whining now..this is just the preamble.

Throw in a recession with drained resources, no jobs..Man it will be uglee. At some point a more moderate President will be in office and it will have to be done.

I can only say that I hope Trump can get back in, because the percentage of illegals were the lowest in years. He will transport these back out of here, and reinstall title 42 again. What a mess we have now.
