Why does Texas keep busing these illegals across America instead of closing the board with Texas Guard? What good does it do to bus them into America's interior? Why wont they use their own forces and enforce their border?

Because as soon as the TX NG is activated Biden will federalize them.

How so? GOP seems to raise a lot of money on doing something about illegal immigration but actually does little to stop it.

Yeah..I started to reword it..but it reduces state costs and makes these bastards put their money where their mouth is, or show their hypocrisy

Mexico: Smugglers Using Title 42 Expiration to Lure Migrants

The Mexican government warned last week that human traffickers are already preparing for the imminent expiration of U.S. Code Title 42 Section 265 expulsions on Thursday.

According to Mexican Foreign Minister Marcelo Ebrard, smugglers, known as "coyotes," are charging migrants up to $7,000 by deceptively telling them that crossing the border is legal when the COVID-era policy is rescinded.

Mandatory E-Verify to Reach House Floor under H.R. 2 -- "The Secure the Border Act of 2023"

On Tuesday, Reps. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-Fla.) and Tom McClintock (R-Calif.) introduced a new border security bill, the Secure the Border Act of 2023. With the support of House Leadership, they filed the bill as H.R. 2, showing it as the second top priority for this Congress. The bill, including mandatory E-Verify, is expected to come to the House floor for a vote next week.

H.R. 2 (The Secure the Border Act of 2023) is a serious approach to finally ending the Biden Border Crisis. Before taking over leadership of the House of Representatives, Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) promised to secure the border in Republicans' Commitment to America; the Diaz-Balart - McClintock border security bill is a significant step toward fulfilling that promise.

H.R. 2, The Secure the Border Act of 2023, would, among other provisions:

This can't come cheap. It is being supported. Why is no one looking into who is behind it? The news media are hot on finding who is behind many other things (like support for Trump or other GOP figures), so why not who is sponsoring actual illegal activity?

Letting illegal immigration go unchecked is common to R and D leadership. Historically the R's have wanted the cheap labor and the D's the future voters. The rest of us are just SOL.

Not sure I buy the "republicans want the cheap labor" argument any more than I buy the "GOP get contributions from business and dems get theirs from the people". I do believe that the less affected the state, the less GOP "representatives" care about fixing the problem. Our members of congress are really very lazy people unless there's something in it for them, and this problem doesn't seem to check that box.

The feds wouldn't let the states and local governments act to turn illegals back in the past. Makes sense if you can't stop them, then you just ship them out to somebody else's turf - especially if those other places are blabbing about illegals having rights and associated BS. They have a right to be met at the border and turned around ... end of rights.
