My point is that those who live in border states tend to have a better perspective on the situation. Do you disagree?

I'm sympathetic to their needs and understand their reasons for coming to the US. Years ago, I had a colleague that immigrated to the states legally, while spending thousands of dollars during the process, related to legal expenses and transportation costs for his family to enter the country legally. In addition, one of my wife's friends is in this position currently. Immigration thru legal channels. If anything, they should be given a refund due to multiple administration's failures.
