Border Patrol agents in a single border sector arrested five migrants later discovered to be on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) watch list. The apprehensions occurred on Friday in the Tucson Sector of the United States Border Patrol shortly after the end of Title 42. According to a source within Customs and Border Protection, not authorized to speak to the media, the migrants were referred to the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task for further investigation and identity confirmation.

The source says the arrests of the foreign nationals who illegally crossed the border and attempted to avoid detection and apprehension occurred in separate incidents throughout the day and evening on Friday. Information regarding the demographics and nationalities of the arrested migrants was not available.

Authorities in Tijuana shut down a famed strip club in connection with the ongoing investigation into the homicide of a U.S. Army soldier. Mexican authorities continue to keep most of the information on the case out of the public eye.

This week, the Baja California Attorney General’s Office shut down Honk Kong nightclub and its adjacent hotel Cascadas. In short a statement, authorities claim that the shutdown was tied to the lack of cooperation from the adult business.

The case began on May 11, when authorities found the body of a 23-year-old man who died from an apparent drug overdose in one of the rooms in the hotel. Authorities have refused to identify the victim. San Diego Red claims the victim is a U.S. soldier named Lowayne — a Jamaican-born U.S. citizen.

Afghan Migrant on Terrorist Watch List Apprehended at California Border

Border Patrol agents arrested a migrant from Afghanistan who was later determined to be on the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB) watch list, according to a San Diego County elected official. The man reportedly crossed the border from Mexico on May 10 with a group of other migrants near Otay Mesa, California.

The county supervisor confirmed rumors that the Afghan migrant was found with a group of migrants who crossed the border on May 10 — one day before the end of Title 42. The number of migrant apprehensions surged during the two weeks leading up to the end of the Trump-era CDC migrant expulsion protocol.

Narco-Terrorist Cartel Delivers Mother’s Day Presents in Mexico

One of Mexico’s most violent criminal organizations delivered small appliances as Mother’s Day gifts to dozens of women in low-income neighborhoods. The deliveries arrived in various cities in the Mexican state of Michoacan as a way to earn public support.

The incidents took place this week in seven cities in the Mexican state of Michoacan where gunmen from Cartel Jalisco New Generation (CJNG) were able to move with complete impunity as they carried their rifles while they delivered the presents.

The gift deliveries took place in the Michoacan towns of La Piedad, Churintzio, Zináparo, Numarán, Yurécuaro, Tanhuato, and Zacapu.

Even though the gunmen can be seen moving around the towns with rifles and sporting cartel banners, law enforcement and military forces did not respond to the scene. The deliveries highlight the impunity with which drug cartels are able to operate in parts of Mexico.

“The omnibus last year provided for at least $150 million for border security in Jordan,” Hagerty began. “It’s a large amount of taxpayer dollars. And if you think about the purpose of this, it’s to provide physical security, to keep people from illegally crossing into Jordan, isn’t that correct?”

Exactly. Employers and staffing/employment agencies need to actually face stiff penalties for hiring and/or falsifying docs for illegal/undocumented aliens. I'm not talking about just having enenforced laws on the books. There needs to be follow-through, and the guilty parties must have their feet held to the proverbial fire until they cease such practices.
